To make sure your Samsung photos are syncing to your Google Account:
- Check Backup Status on Phone: Open the Google Photos app on your Samsung device. Tap your profile picture at the top right to see if it says "Backup complete."
- Enable Device Folders: If you've moved photos to a specific "Downloads" folder on your phone, you must tell Google Photos to back up that specific folder:
- In the Google Photos app, tap your profile picture > Photos settings > Backup.
- Tap Back up device folders and ensure the toggle for your Downloads folder is turned ON.
- Verify Account: Ensure you are signed into the exact same Google Account on both your Samsung phone and your desktop browser at https://photos.google.com.
