I did not realize I'd be away from my blogging for so long. I cannot believe how fast the time gets away.
I will still no doubt not be posting as much, as about only half of my projects are complete.
The grand kids are here visiting from Cedar Rapids...only a couple of weeks until school starts for them.
My kitchen cabinets before and after. I still have some touch up spots, but life goes one and I'll have a few quiet days to take my time and finish them up.
I ordered all the Satin Nickel hardware on line. Was free shipping and 1/3 the costs of what we searched for in our local hardware and lumber stores. Was very happy with the quality.
Started out with this one drawer...but I thought the color was too light Notice the face boards behind the drawer..This is a pre fab home and the doors were solid wood, but the face board was cheap wood covered with a laminate "PAPER"....usually it is a form of plastic...that part faded over the 20 years to an ugly green.
We take the kids back today, and will have all of my family here on Sunday for my mothers 86th birthday. So I will be cleaning the garage...getting it squeeky clean for our grilling and outside conversation.
Catching up to do, but I think I'm back ! Oh I forgot to mention, beans, corn, cucumbers have been taking over part of my life also.

Have a class reunion to look forward too in Sept. I have pretty much located all of the missing classmates and some others are finishing up the details for our gatherings on Thurs, Fri, and Sat. Enjoy what is left of summer.

It's so hard to find crafty time even when you have a couple of extra things going on. Glad your kitchen is looking so great! There'll be some updates going on in my kitchen soon...dreading...
