Wanted to share the Journal's I made using some of Mom's family photos and papers from the Echo dying I did from her funeral flowers/leaves. This one is for a cousin who always spent time with her when visiting the area.
The cover has a pink doily that her mother Sylvia made (my name sake) and a very old clothespin from a favorite Aunt of hers.

Above is Mom's sister this Journal is made for her daughter (my cousin) She was one who ALWAYS spent time with her, each day when she visited our area. She was very close to my Mother.
This is a palm leaf from her Spray of Flowers Echo dyed. Somehow I've no photos of the Roses.

Above is my Mom's brother....he was killed in a car accident, age 19 going back to college. The page to the right of this were Mom's favorites..HOT Coffee, Cracking gum (Beamans' Clove) and BeeHive hair do's

This was a fun project. I was pleased how it turned out. I have yet to finish mine ! It will be a bit larger as I am adding more of my personal things to it. Thanks for stopping by.

What a beautiful keep sake Sylvia, wonderful photographs of a time gone by. Love the eco dye palm makes a lovely background. I'd love to have personal family photo's I have asked but sadly many are lost. Wonderful display, had to pop and take a closer look. Thanks so much for sharing take care Tracey xx

How lovely this is Sylvia, your cousin will cherish it so. The pink doily and peg are wonderful touches. How tragic to lose their brother so, and talking of tragic...Clove...is that the flavour of the gum? OH my poor numb tongue!!!
