The calm after the storm..weather is really wild all over our country. Hurricanes, Earthquakes, Hail, High Winds. Our little town had high winds Monday night which called for cleanup of lots of downed trees and many branches.

She has something interesting today NO PICTURES..well cute little quips about it. Computers are great but sure can give frustrations when we can't get them to work.
I haven't yet went back to challenges or making much, but hope to do so after some encouraging words from a great blogger friend. My desk has been abandon but the picture shows I FINALLY received my secondhand rubber stamps, after waiting since 7/4. My laptop is in the black case and the little cigar box....well some fall fun. Guess I'll clean up a bit and organize my fall stamping things and get back to it...

I live near to a little town called Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire where all the fallen UK servicemen are repatriated too. Each time a funeral cortege passes through the town, the whole place comes to a standstill as people pay their respects. No-one told them to do this, it just happened. Recently the Queen bestowed the honour of adding the word Royal to their placed name - hence Royal Wootton Bassett - as a thank you for the consideration shown by the townspeople towards those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. xx
Sylvia, Beautiful card, most beautiful post. Our craft group is involved with a program called www.operationwritehome.org We make cards for soldiers to share with their families. If you or your group is interested, cards are ALWAYS needed. Again, thanks for sharing your creation and our love goes out to the families of all the men and women serving our great country. Our prayers go out to each of the soldiers for a safe tour of duty and a quick return home.
