Welcome...only 3x to get that one word here....It's showing of the desk day and I totally forgot it was Wednesday.  More info on Julia's blog HERE   2 trys for that info    and that brings up last weeks visits. Almost none I could not connect to most blogs, wrote my response and it would not post, I went back later and I could find nothing.  About 4/5 did post,  ANY IDEAS?  

My desk in all it's glory:

Total disaster, I've more than 3 projects going and the cutting table, painting area are worse. Can't show as surprises.  

Will clear this mess up and start on ATC's for our exchange.  Let me know if you are wanting to SWAP.  (warning, International I only have Poinsettia stamps CHRISTMAS as our P. O.  don't have any new on hand. I checked when I bought regular stamps. The frustrations of no workers, no shipping, and empty shelves. We can barely find canned cat food here.

Sounds like Hub will be trying a small field to plant and I'll be the taxi. I almost bet it's too wet and rain forecast for next 3 days is rain so hopeful he  changes his mind with in the hour. 

Last year he was DONE with both corn & beans.  This year has not even started.  COLD 30's and WIND 18 to 25 mph most days. Not unheard of 40 to 50 mph some days.  SUN a few minutes today.

Good early morning, here. It's fly by Wednesday and our fun visits for What's on You Workdesk Wednesday !  Link is HERE SPRING it's all I want, warm temp's, sunshine and no wind.  yesterday 19 degrees, snow melted from Easter and Monday and today WINDS and 38.  I have a smiley face cup in front of me. 

I've really had good time to be in my crafty space for a few days,  I did make a trip yesterday to some thrift shops, Hobby Lobby, a disappointed trip to JoAnn Fabric (CLOSED on TUESDAYS now no help) and haven't had time to unpack. Hubby swept me away for casino time/and food. His way to de-stress, wet fields, new calf on the way, broken shaft on tractor, and HIGH gas prices.  But all is well, he won !  

My desk:  Wonky flowers from leftover sheet of paper used for dabbing inks from my doodled flowers.  

I like these better with a few doodles on them.

Oh it's almost Wednesday, up late watching NCAA Men's Basketball championships. I can sleep late if I post early. !  It's time to share our workspace, more info and Mr. Linky HERE

My desk:

Lots of tiny papers, some scraps of fabric. the re inkers in the background are what I use to color the canvas "doodle" flowers. I can reactivate the ink with alcohol when I make a few more.  

A 2x2 book  waiting for glue drying =  if anyone has  Ideas for  a great clamp on I can purchase for making video's with my cell phone please let me know. I use amazon   Hub helped me with my post on Instagram, but I can't do that by myself.  

Created a masterboard

Cut up masterboard into post card sizes and a cut 2 of those in 1/2 Those to the left  I made long ago and was using them for sizing. 

It's been the start of another windy/rainy week. But I have more things to sort out. Last Friday I tore apart the master bedroom. Vacuumed the ceiling corners, moved what I could, cleaned out the closet, ceiling fan, windows  did 8 loads of laundry, (curtains, bedding, clothes being donated) opened the windows, Lots of knick knaks are getting labeled packed up for grandkids, and donating. Too much dusting. Such a good feeling and the extra advil helped me survive.

Welcome, better late than never. It's been a busy 2 weeks trying to keep up with my hubby.  Playing along with my WoW friends HERE at Ms. Julia's 

My desk today:   

Was thinking about some Easter fun, but got side tracked with projects already started but not yet finished. 

Above are 2 Vintage tags with a bee, 2 flowers all Doodle's from a Class I took by Wendy Vecchi on Etsy.  Was so fun and she has added a making backgrounds. I have not had time to view that one.  Farther back 2 Tiny journals 2 x 2 1/2 .  I did a 1st video with help of hub, 2nd one was a little blurry, but I've an idea for a holder. Can see the video on my Facebook page, or Instagram 

Another unfinished project worked on last night, little pockets, trifolds which I added washi tape to some edges or modge podged with wrapping paper.  Will add embellishments when I use them.  

I have had so much frustrations with this Google Chrome update, have to use my cell phone for codes to enter almost every sight I go to, then add passwords etc.  For me working from my home computer is so much quicker than posting from cell phone. So I need to do more research on getting this changed.  

May you all be safe in so many ways. My heart goes out to all involved with this mess hurting Ukraine.  Hoping for spring.....snow tonight? Crazy weather here  HIGH COLD WINDS for many days.

Welcome to another desk sharing day. It's started at the Stamping Ground and continues to be a fun adventure every week. 

 Stopped at a thrift store and found some fun stamps. 

And this beautiful tiny thread crochet doily. Hoping I can find a unique dimensional frame for it. 

Then my desk,  not much in the making, I've had the urge for "SPRING" cleaning, and made a big dent in upstairs, living area,  but oh the real mess is downstairs.(crafty space/storage room !)   Moved furniture in 2 rooms to vacuum, redid a closet with spring/summer items, put away winter. redid pantry/most cupboards, will do the very dirty windows when 50's arrive end of the week maybe. I've several boxes to donate/took stacks of magazines/clothes the day I had to myself to go thrifting. 

My prayers you are all safe, are coping with how our lives are being affected. We are seeing CNN news on so much of the turmoil that is happening. Unbelievable how this could even happen. My most dedicated prayers are for Ukraine and it's people. With hope that we all can return to living in Peace.  Disheartened with travel plans for visits anytime this year.

Welcome it's  time to share our workspaces for this week. Ms Julia our hostess welcomes one and all, to join her here at her Stamping Ground

My desks:  Working with a flower doodles and making a pocket sympathy card.  I've 2 special funerals Fri/Sat.  His aunt 101 and a classmate's Mom 97 who lived where my mom did. Both were the grandest ladies. 

You'll have to enlarge these photos, I can't get very good photos with my phone anymore. Will try to change back to my camera next week. 

I plan to fold the Mother's Never Die Poem for inside. 

This is an example of the envelope's I create for most of my out going mail. Different Alpha/Number sizes and colors, quite time consuming but I've gotten fun results from the ones receiving them.  Sometimes just not enough room,  I start at the bottom work my way up.

It's fun and Ms. Julia allows newcomers.  

My desk....last week: Making Valentines, but my computer playing games and could not schedule and I was leaving early Tuesday to visit my son and family. So could not post as came back late Wednesday.  Had a great trip weather 45 both days and got to see my grandson play his saxophone in his concert and my granddaughter play her 2nd to last Varsity basketball game, tournaments start today. 

This week's desk:

No clean up of making crazy envelopes to mail. Use all sizes of letters to address an envelope, kids love it and I found out I am MISSING my 3 sized grouping of T. Holtz Alphabet. I've searched everywhere so baffled.

 Then the great inefficient postal service did not deliver my 2 packages as they predicted.  PRIORITY postage but not delivering within time really upsets me.  And here there is NO ONE TO CALL. And it's like don't complain or you won't get anything. I'll share if it ever arrives by next week. And all the mail I mailed out last Tuesday still has not arrived and some destinations are only 15 miles away.  

 

I really hope all of you remain safe and enjoy a great WOYWW this week. I think I will be drinking 2 glasses of wine for breakfast instead of one until my life calms down.  Cherio  !

Welcome,  it's not quite Wednesday here but  Ms Julia is ready for all to stop by

HERE for WOYWW the day we share our workspaces.  I can sleep in if I post now. 

(We have a time difference of 7 hrs.)  

 

My desk today:

I used a foil pan to cut our the hearts and some buttons, then he opened a can of cashews and I thought the round seal would work for something.....it's even textured. More next week !!! 

He also cut me some wood circles from some branches we had fall, several ideas but will wait until they dry out.  I need to find a wood burning tool and a small drill bit.

I will be cutting these out while watching some college basketball later, more of the doodled flowers, drawn, painted,  after cutting I'll do some fine line doodling and then a few cards, or ATC's   My projects all seem to take awhile to get completed. 

Hoping all is good your way, winter cold and wind here. BUT we have been good with health issues.  Covid is calming a bit here, but our stores are missing a LOT of items. Have a great week

OH I've had stress this Morning !  But manages to get to this sight.  It's desk sharing day, and HERE'S WHERE it BEGINS

MY desk

 My order to Ranger for  ARCHVAL  Re inkers finally arrived.  

I've used a thick glass shelf to apply my ink to,  when not in use I cover it with insides of CD cases, add a drop of alcohol up on returning and ready to use again.  I cover it so our cat doesn't get into it.  

Some of my final product.  I am also waiting for a delivery of Paper Canvas to work with on this project.  I used watercolor paper as it did not arrive in time for the video class.

I belong to a group on Facebook  INK STAMP & MAKE ART with WENDY VECCHI  and class can be reached thru Etsy  under WendyVecchiMarkArt  

Doodle, Ink, Cut and Create LIVE CLASS .. REPLAY 3+ hours of doodle  also Doodle, Ink, Cut & Create Class 4

She offered a class on "DOODLES"  making flowers/leaves, using re inkers  WAS very fun and the cards/projects being made are all so unique.  I am loving it.   Planning to make some Valentines using this method, IF I GET MY PAPER.   Our mail systems sucks.  5 to 10 days on deliveries and the cost almost doubled.  

Now off to find out why an UPDATE with  GOOGLE CHROME has been so difficult. Passwords for each visit and codes sent to my phone for verification...complete nonsense. ANY IDEAS I would be forever thankful.  Can't go out -20 and winds coming.

Welcome, it's a bright sunny morning here,  about 11 inches of snow on the ground and I am hoping the roadways will be cleared off.

I've so many ideas running thru this mind of mine,  spending 1/2 days putting away Christmas and getting out some Valentine items  I like the little lights crossing between kitchen is a narrow laundry/pantry area to family room. Have collection of Raggedy Ann's and the old crocheted pot holders.  

Missed last week as I took off  alone in an unexpected trip to spend time with family before the storm  We did Christmas, my college grandson and girl friend were there and the weather was beautiful 40's  It's a 3 hour drive, stopped to win some at the Casino, and the next day's return trip did a little shopping.  Such fun to be with them.

We are sharing our desks today Ms. Jan has Mr. Linky already for us to connect.  It's a trip around the world with great bloggers. HERE to PLAY ALONG 

I am preparing to take a class on Doodling  with Wendy Vecchi Friday so lining up some of my tools...WAITING for DELIVERY of more inks.  Trying to draw flowers !!! So Doodles will be much better !!!   Unpredictable shipping by most carriers here.  

Then my regular workspace I was sorting out, listing colors I have as we are using Re-inkers  and I don't have very many.  thus the order...I tried Ranger but couldn't even get on their sight as a customer, so sent an email on those issues and now waiting ~! 

Have a wonderful week, I'll be around later maybe even tomorrow, we might go for lunch and then the week turns to minus degrees and more snow?  So I'll be here !!!

Welcoming  in 2022 with our Wednesday post and sharing our desks.  All on the Link up of our great hostess Ms. Julia  HERE  While most of the USA is having weather issues of  minus degree temps, snow, ice and wind. We have missed all of it but the extreme cold.  But it's fun to bundle up!!

My desk!  

Working with a new Magic Mat...not as easy as the plastic with my Big Kick, Works well with all my other dies  but the Tim Holtz dies  then need a cardstock shim.   

My military son an family, took a train to visit Berlin over the New Year holidays. His idea is long weekends they will be touring the countries near by.  We took quite a few day bus tours when we visited on their last assignment 9 years ago. Hoping we can visit again, but flight delays/covid so much enters the picture in this crazy world we are living in now. My idea UK/Wales !!!   I miss seeing them so much, the girls are growing up so fast. They do love school and many adventures. 

My desk again:

I cleared a spot and unpacked a small bag of a big variety of TASSELS !  Wondering what my plan for these were, any ideas let me know.  Lots of sizes and variety of colors.   

Well he swept me away for a Chinese Lunch and some shopping and it was FANTASTIC, it's been so long since we've visited this place, a buffet, but they supplied plastic gloves to dish up your choices and lots of space between tables.  It was his shopping !!!  I stayed in the car and when I went in Target I could find nothing on my list.  He went to 4 stores for kitty liter and no one had ANY.  Picked up the last bag on the way home at a small grocery store.  

Thanks for all the fun visits last week and I hope to be around to visit, if we don't lose electricity. 
We are in the midst of a winter storm, winds up to 60 mpr already.  Fingers crossed it by passes us.

Happy middle of the week.  It's link up time with Ms. Julia for our sharing of the workspaces  RIGHT HERE

AND I have a desk to share !  It's cleared off and ready to have some fun. 

I cleaned out 3 file drawers of papers, mostly of notes, ideas, samples, made space for some of the clutter on the floor, some saved cardboard and seasonal papers. 

We had a quiet Christmas, but had great Skype with son and family visiting in Rome as they spent 5 days touring the area. I watched the Pope's live youtube Christmas mass and the blessing outdoors they weren't too far from the camera's but didn't get to see them. Lots of umbrella's, it was raining.  

New Year's Eve will be somewhat the same here. In fact weather will keep most of us at home. Snow/Ice/Wind predicted.   So wishing all of you and yours the very best for the

New Year.

I haven't been at any of my crafty space, it was a week of being here/there/and everywhere.  Sleeping in my chair, trying to find things I put in safety when the storm hit.  We were blessed, only lost some facia on the house, fences messed up in cattle area, branches, but south many farms were totally destroyed except their houses.
