Day Off Wednesday
Had to take a day and get the garage cleaned. Woke up at 5AM so just got up by 6 I was moving 3 vehicles outside and all the stuff accumulated over winter. Gravel road's have us track in a lot of fine dirt so I swept the heavy duty dirt and my husband came to help with a hose and water, as I followed with broom to really clean the floor. Threw a lot and washed down the bar & stools, refrigerator, and the wood items etc we use for entertaining out there once in a while.
A lot got moved to the shop area which I hope to get done next week one day.
Need a trip to the city to get some new carpet strips for between the cars and replace some I threw to connect to the bar area. After 5 hrs, I was physically wore out. Advil and a beer and good sleep.
Then a trip towing my car to our little town something needs attention as it wouldn't start. What is a woman to do without a car. Drive a little red older truck with no air that my 7 yr old grandson Caek says " Grandma this thing really moves" He's amazed at the stick shift and spinning tires!!!! and granddaughter Camryn 4, don't miss an adventure with Grandpa on some sort of moving machine here (tractors, trucks, 4 wheeler, combine)
Spent a few hours on webcam with son visiting in Phillipines, will be back in So.Korea tonight.
Today got to do a few cards for personal use, lots of May birthdays, Bridal shower, and a few Sympathy cards again. An some time to spend with the cats...they will be 1 in May...
Baxter the bigger, cuddle cat, moves a lot slower and in total command. Always has his paw ON TOP of either Baily or Me when he's resting. He does a LOT of that. Totally MALE!!!
Bailey the small, thin, full of energy, and investigative little one, can make you laugh a lot, trying something new everyday. He is a real keeper.. loves treats and trying to get out the door before you.
They were totally amazed at the outside world the day I let them follow me around the yard.
They spend a lot of time together looking out the windows and racing up and down the steps to my craft room or the family room . AND they love my ribbon !!!!! Haven't had the camera there to get that shot. but they also play with a little tin pan I put some scraps in...love the twisty ties & playing in boxes when the UPS drops off a package.
Well got to get busy, Have a Raggedy Ann collection that needs dusting and some Goulash to make for lunch. Have a great day. We are having 40mph winds... so no adventures outside today.

Challenge is to use one earth or nature related embellishment, Earth Day Inspired. The DT team here has som cute cards & the shopping experience is fun.
I will no doubt use my card for my Brother, he works for the Soil Conservation Office and is ALWAYS outside. His love for nature,(animals & the land), preserving it, offering helps and ideas to people who care to preserve what we have makes me so proud. He kinda uses the way "it use to be" to enjoy the beauty, lifestyle, and obtains some quiet serenity in the process.
We all take too much for granted and are in too big of a hurry to enjoy the "Little Things".
The Rising and Setting of the Sun should be a part of our enjoyment in this life.

Just for Fun Challenge #8
Hop on over to Just for Fun Rubber Stamps, the DT has some very nice Inspiration
http://jffstamps.typepad.com/jffstamps/ in an unusual color combo.
Blue Gray Orange. I cannot get the logo color to come over...but once I got the block out of my head this came together and I liked working with it. I didn't have the type ribbon I needed, but here in the land of no towns close by I used what I had. But a soft fluffy bow would have been my choice.
I used the Prima Paper Flowers, (a gift from Becca), Debbie Mumm Papers, Stampabilities Sentiment
Some ribbon and sparkle from a stash I need to organize.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the weekend. Forecast here is RAIN so can really spend some much needed time in my crafting room.
