My card today was made for several Challenges with July 4th a few days away there has been so many thoughtful challenges to our holiday.
My card was simple, use of a scrap from cutting a large star, I folded over and used my Cuttlebug Star Embossing Folder, added a ribbon and inside used the Sizzix BigZ Nested Stars and my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, K&Company button of our American Flag. Love using up those scraps!!
When you lift the Blue, the inside has the White, Red & Blue.

If you go back further on my blog, you can see I have made many Patriotic Cards this last week. I am a Proud mother of a son who is in the United States Army as a career. So when our National Anthem is sung I get tears in my eyes, when our RED/WHITE/BLUE colors are the THEME I am proud to be part of it, when people do not appreciate the FREEDOM we have I can ruffle my feathers a bit, as FREEDOM is NOT Free.
Thanks this July 4th to the MEN & WOMEN who SERVE.
Stand Tall and Proud this Holiday and Remember those who have sacrificed. But most of all Be A Proud American
Have a safe and fun weekend.
