WOYWW #463

Welcome to all, it's Wednesday the day we share our desks.  Ms. Julia our hostess has info on her blog  HERE....STAMPING GROUND  And today is sharing info on our 9th Anniversary of sharing ATC's  so if you are interested hop on over.  It's really addictive.

My desk: a bit of what I've been doing when  we were hit with 13 inches of snow  High winds and cold temps.  Sorting:

Above is the desk to the right of my normal one (still covered with ATC bits and bobs) Found these 3 little wire bins, working good for my Unity stamps. I hope to use them in a new project. "Journals"
Mid-May I am hoping to have my Computerized sewing machine sold and a new BASIC one bought and in use.

This photo is my kitchen table... cleaned out a hall closet....rubbermaid full of photos, again sorting by family's, labeling, and putting in manila envelopes. This is an OLD box (forgotten about) of negatives. Looks like from every kind of camera I have ever owned. Remember the "Disc" my very favorite of all time. SIMPLE little round compact negatives ....debating to keep or to discard.
For those of you not Facebook friends  our 1st little baby calf...was born in the barn because my hubby Cares..weather just too awful out, 2 days of blizzard conditions.     Just adorable.
He was working on making sure all the mechanisms worked on his planter and it got buried.

Some has melted with temps of 40 the past 2 days but 6 to 9 inches forecast for today..April 18, most years he would be in the field a week already planting corn. Not complaining as some areas have it much worse. But I "need" sunshine and warm temps.

Thanks for stopping by, and for last weeks comments.  Happy WOYWW  kind of day

WOYWW #462

Oh yes, I think Spring has arrived on this Wednesday, the day we share our desks. Our Sunday snowfall has melted and temps are about 50/60's and I am thrilled.  We share our workspaces thru our hostess Julia at the Stamping Ground.

In back of my desk is a large old 7 ft table,  which I love with a  7 ft  bench sitting on top, where I use my paper cutter, Big Kick, store my embossing folders, dies and a few other oddities.  I found some long narrow magnets and attached them to the bench to store some of the smaller dies I use more frequently.

Underneath are  5 plastic storage files with drawers for my supplies and mostly stamps ,sorted by theme, kids, men, birthday etc and some by artist or company.  Selection of drawer sizes vary. Love them.

Not sharing my desk as it has a lot of little items pending making ATC's and was in a hurry, to photo and leave with DH.  If you are interested in trading leave me a note or email me your current address.

Thanks for visiting and wishing you Sunshine, and Spring like days.

WOYWW # 461

Welcome, where oh where does a week go?  Actually I have been stranded at home for 3 days and didn't realize it was the day to share the work space. Its available for all to become involved by way of our hostess Julia right  HERE

We are back with winter, 4 plus inches of fresh snow, -5 degree temps, school cancellations and the winds rearranging big drifts.  So very ready for "Spring", sunshine and those pretty flowers peeping through the ground.

I've been sorting, organizing, making piles of this and that. Started with seasonal changes of clothes,
easy donations. On to fabric/lace/seasonal decor, glassware, some remaining sons mementos, and the list goes on.  Wondering how things got so out of hand.

The door in back leads to the storage room....the visitors bed is a dumping ground as I sort.  My goal for that room is clear the space and add a table for  sorting, labeling all the photos stashed in a closet.
My desk is partially covered up...actually working on ATC's  somehow I found this Alan Jackson photo while sorting...

Just a note, Easter we went to the movie,  "I CAN ONLY IMAGINE" ....a 5 star for sure.  Highly recommend it.  . Breakfast time here  DH came in from out doors and it sounds like another mess in America. (Tariffs with China, will hurt our farming something terrible.)and a few more fun things added to his work week (baby calves on the way) and (snow to be moved here and in town.).
Have a wonderful week....
