WOYWW #712

It's WOYWW share the workspace day. HERE's the Blog that makes it happen.
A busy day, we went to see the Movie  "A Man Called Otto" Tom Hanks. So good, happy and sad moments. Then TV  our Iowa's State Men's Basketball beat Kansas State to tie for the top spot in BIG 12....

As promised last week  the 2 birthday cards   A yellow card for a friends mother turning  90

A card for a lady turning 100   She makes delicious angel food cakes  and the card has 100 candles. She was a good friend of my mother's at assisted living.
3 pages of 84 each 1 page with 16   I used distress ink for colors
My workspace for making fabric journals. Doesn't look like you can even see the cover !   Maybe by next week !~
Two of this weeks Inkbox cards 3x3 theme of Winter for January.
I love making these.  This was like a little miracle, the 2 long white/brown were vertical birch trees from a calendar, the bottom cars from a different one blended in to make the base. I guess it pays to save scraps !!!
Thanks for all the great visits and comments.  I'm doing well with the ribs, got a Ladies ! elastic support and it really has helped. Now I'm off to bed
it's 12:30 am.

ONE question, are any of you familiar with Eindhoven?  EFSL,  in the Netherlands.  Happy WOYWW 712

WOYWW #711

Just doing this post, I'm have unusual sleep habits with this rib mess.
Overall doing OK  thankful on back/side and not near lungs. One bad pain comes with a sneeze ! WOW........ THANK YOU all for your kind comments. Since it's the day we share our workspace, if you are a new wondering visitor go HERE to Ms Julia's to visit many others or even share your spaces.

I have been keeping creative, went to the grocery store today with the hub, as another snow storm will hit Wed pm thru Thursday. Nice warm day, but messy with melting snow/water. We had rain, ice thankful I am retired.

Another deconstruction day, I've saved McDonald's fish boxes, the bottom is 4x4 great for small card making, just the right thickness. Some small strips from the sides, good in collage pages, I'll use paint/distress ink/cover with papers in using them.
Shared this with a Vintage facebook group, a collection of Old sewing notions. Sits in front of one of my workspaces.
A couple of 3x3 Inkbox cards for The Collage Art Collective group A daily  Winter theme  on facebook/instagram also

My DESK:
A true mess...working on a collage, made 2 birthday cards that I will share next week.
Hope all is going good for all of you. I 've enjoyed all your comments and my visits. Lots of good things on your workspaces.

710 What's on Your Workspace Wednesday

Welcome,  It's 2:45 AM   up naturally so while I sit with icepack I'll join in
our WOYWW group HERE at STAMPING GROUND  My left side is a mess, I tripped and fell downstairs and landed on a hard wooden stool. Pain in the side of my rib area is bad, but reading on it I don't think they are broken. Using ice, not moving, and will locate essential oils. I worried about falling on Ice, not in my own home.  But it is what it is.

Have a had a week at home, because of weather so have had a lot of fun with crafty projects.  And started to put away Christmas decor. Doubt that I can finish that for awhile, but I have a good helping husband.

Some of my makes,
I was working on Deconstructing cardboard upstairs as quite cold downstairs,  I'll paint some, use it for tags/backgrounds etc Soon it will be Valentines Day.
A view of our beautiful frosted trees West of our farm. Lots of fog and frost here this week.
A tag made of cardboard, fabric with tears, black cord hold on twisted wire
And one of my 3x3 cards for daily "Winter" theme at The Collage Art Collective. I have had so much fun making this "Tiny Art"  has helped me organize a lot of my papers/images/colors.

Wishing you all the very best, enjoy all the things you love,  I did this past week, I made chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter  with the chocolate star. Found a Pumpkin Bundt cake in the freezer so I'll no doubt gain a few pounds !!  Thanks for the visits last week.  Happy WOYWW

#709 What's On Your Workspace Wednesday

Welcome, it's Wednesday !  I think I'm back to a somewhat normal life. Oh not really, I still have all of Christmas up.  Loving the little lights  and we've had a lot of darkness here.
My desk top cutting strips to make a masterboard
The finished products. I will cut them into 3x3 squares to make Inkbox cards for a daily January theme of "Winter" at the Collage ArT Collective. There are  to the left. I usually post also to Instagram (love the short posts there) and Facebook. I finished up the Rolodex cards for December.  I enjoy working on "Tiny" spaces.  The Weekly  Collage in a bigger form with special weekly prompts seem time consuming to me as I look to long for the items to work with.  I hope to go back to making journals.

And my regular desk, a complete chaotic mess. Prepare these a few days ahead of time

Of course if you want to visit more desks, head over to Ms. Julia's HERE at STAMPING GROUND lots of fun spots.

Apologies for no visits last week, we left to have breakfast, shop and get ready for forecast of ICE storms, high winds. Here in country if we lose electricity we have no water, so bottle up for our use. He has to do special things for the Cattle and their little ones. Thank goodness most of it didn't happen, delayed out each day for about a 5 days and we ended up with Tuesday rain, 34 degrees turned to ice covered yards, but winds missed us so trees were all ok. No road travels were advised.
Then I ended up with Vertigo and did nothing but be in darkness and quietness.  I am anxious to travel !!!  Seems calm today, it's still dark here at 6 a m.

Thanks for stopping by;
