Welcome,   so happy you stopped by.  It's another day we share our workspaces.  You can join in the fun by linking up to Mr. Linky  at Ms. Julia's blog:  STAMPING GROUND

I've been sorting and rearranging still:   Have my 2 desks for  mixed media/inks/paint then stamping/dies/ cards/paper. Photo goes left to right then to book case that holds paper pads,  stamps etc.
pretty much done, moved taller storage items that was between the 2 tables so added a small table and gives me extra drop space and more lighting.

A little quilted tag for a groups weekly post  and a big black  pen top and I can't find the pen.
In the far corner and below  a swivel spool holder for my washi tapes
Below the table I had a 3 wire drawers in the storage room that fits great under this table and it is housing rubber stamps, for journaling, flowers, words.

This little old doll bed held my laces and they were in last weeks post, but Bailey decided he'd perch there off and on

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful week.  It's warm 50/60's and raining here. So the grass will green up and help the trees to bud.  I'm ready for SPRING.

WOYWW #615

Welcome, it's WOYWW  and how time flew by since last week 's post.  It's early morning here and very dark and dreary. Time change was Sunday, and not yet adjusted to the morning darkness.  Plus 4/5 inches of snow Monday is now melting and raining later today making a muddy mess, soft roads, dirty cars, but helping the moisture in the ground, the tiny flowers peeping thru the ground and forcing myself to have a POSITIVE attitude about everything coming my way. !!!!  Visit JULIA'S BLOG HERE to visit others or play along.

I haven't been near any desk in my crafty area, I took out 2 big totes, of fabric and doily's. Need to have them more seeable to use them and I'm tired of digging thru to find pieces for this and that. So here's the new method, The wooden piece held tools in the store room, now in a small portable cloth tote, the other pink metal piece is a side of an old baby bed, sitting empty from once having a collection of crochet pot holders.

The start of the sort...you might see 2 small wire racks which now hold small doily's, lace, pieces for use in journals or cards, or fabric sewing. Hoping photos will enlarge.  I miss that on some blogs.as I love to see close ups.

Below this a lightweight ladder has been in my crafty space since I started a blog, it's held many things.

small little stand out of storage.
The 2 bottom photos are the 2 beginning pieces empty.   Now 2 bottom pieces almost full, totes emptied and ready for use.
Mostly journal making fabric linen's, burlap, denim, chees cloth tea dyed and plain, the basket at the bottom is full of tiny scraps for collage works  and an old quilt top falling apart for special projects.

Will share the space they end up in when I clear out something else !    Does any one know what this would have been for?  It has some birds and leaves within,  I am thinking on the top back of a chair (where head rests?)

I'll have more on Doily's next week.  Plus a few paper projects as I've a few birthdays on the way.
Have a great week.  We've been out and about, time with friends who've lost a parent, husband etc, no services for them as yet and it's a hard thing to go thru.  Be Safe.

WOYWW #614

Good Morning, and Welcome.  It's very early I didn't even realize it was Wednesday. The week has just flown by. But have missed a few weeks (no photo's, due to Adobe shut down and I haven't replaced )
I now download my photos to my email and save them.  I NEED to take time to get this mess organized.   SHAZ  I need you !!!
But it's time to share a desk with the friends HERE on Ms Julia's blog.

Julia this is ONE I found for Mom....I usually made something with hearts, as this or the heart shape itself.  She loved them no matter what.  I'd LOVE ONE no matter what.  With sons it's an off on day.
And MAIL is a Little Treasure.    But I usually always get the phone call.  We spent Sunday with my son 200 miles away. Loving and Enjoying all of them and excited to see all the hard work they have put into rebuilding their new home, destroyed by Derecho  August 2020. We left early and returned late that night but a feeling of real LIVING again. Grandson Cael turned 18 Monday, and was inducted into the National Honor Society that week. We could not attend due to Covid, But I made cards for both events. We hadn't seen each other since June when we had Mother's funeral.    TOO LONG of a TIME for Family contact.

And here we are.

Here are a the small  gift Cards, made to hold Money.  (his need right now !!!)

Front side with a tag  School Colors  for the award night.
Back side
Front and back of a small birthday gift card.  Just hard to believe he's 18...Will go into Engineering in the fall at a Great Iowa college.  I can remain true to my other son's  adventures here also  Plus it is only a 2 hour drive SO we can visit.

Short moments of  Coffee dying tags straight from the filter and pot.

Also Some various fabric for some projects
My helper with cutting apart some kids jeans for the pockets.  I've a few ideas for a journal

Really in 2 weeks haven't been at my desk, lots of running to do, meetings, and appointments. Details down the road    Have a great week   Thanks for stopping by.

TINY LITTLE JEANS

Oh Happy Sunday !   Quiet, beautiful snowfall, and fun projects to do.

I found a few pairs of children's 50 cent jeans at the thrift shop.

My idea for this pair is to cut it apart for a journal cover or maybe 2 and use of the 4 pockets.
This is a 6 month size and only 12 inches long.

These are the 2 front pockets and 2 back pockets plus the little zipper.
I have no clue why this and the following are different colors.  Same camera, same floor

I'm thinking a Denim Journal and a rustic theme ?  Wish me Luck

This is another  50 cent find.   I also just took apart a Size 5T, 25 inches long   with a little helper
This is a thinner fabric 100% cotton.    And I might have a few strips to use some color on.
Don't expect anything soon, I will post whatever I end up doing with both of these.

Enjoy a wonderful week.  Thanks for stopping by.

Garland Fun

Thanks for stopping by, I forgot to post this before Valentine's Day

I started with a 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock.  Cut it  in have, and folded both 1/2 pieces in half again.
Then I cut these in 3 in strips, folded and cut out the center with a heart die.

Then I used hemp cord, spaced the 8 strips with an old narrow close pin for even spacing and put glue on the fold and let it dry.

The heavy weights did the job .

The hearts  I also will make a garland with, must haven't had time.  Will put the 3 together, fold and stitch vertically.  Giving me a garland with 8  hearts

The little red heart was a sample piece and I accidently cut a 1/2 circle so I made my hubby this Valentine.

I made a little tag "True Love" and used a winged tack so it is moveable. In the 2nd photo, it is down

Folded flat and it fit in with this card and a little envelope I made.  He was intrigued !

WOYWW #611

Welcome, it's another Wednesday, a day we share our desks.  Ms Julia hosts our fun HERE and you can play along or visit anyone who's name shows up on Mr. Linky.

My desk: We had electricity turned off this morning, with the bitter temps of -17 so the mother board could have a break.  And only off for less than an hour. But I have a bright sunny window to work with so thought I'd make some  "Lacey" paper clips clusters for later use.  Was fun and I used up "scraps".

Here is a Valentine my Hubby made for me !

You should be able to clip the photos to enlarge.  We also went to our favorite restaurant on Tuesday to avoid the crowds and had our favorite LARGE Shrimp

In a post following this I will have  a Valentine Garland, and his hanging Valentine.
I've also posted a few In previous posts as I shared on a few group posts.

I was saddened to hear of our friend Shaz. She will be missed, I loved her style and always could present a question and she'd get me through. Thanks Julia for the wonderful post.  It is a treasure.  May you all enjoy good health and Happy Times.
Thanks for your visit
