My card layers were distressed, butterflies were layered and popped up. My homemade flower was cut with the Sizzex Flower die and placed on a crocheted piece, with other sparkle and embellishments, my card went together easy. The card and the little Sentiment "Happiness is Found in Simple Things" reminds me so much of my two grandmothers, Sylvia and Anna, who I am named after. Their life was not Simple, but they got by with Simple Things and were very happy.
I spent a LOT of time with my grandparents, I loved the attention and they always had projects to keep me busy. We all lived close by so it was like a daily stop to one or the other. It is something I truly miss with my grandchildren so far away. Creating Memories.

How beautiful! I love the crocheted piece... I cannot get enough of crochet right now! I hope you get to find some time to be with your grandchildren. I know my parents really miss that time with my kids since we live overseas, but it always makes the times we are together extra special.
