Good Morning, it was a sleepless night so here at 4 AM I am contributing to Julia at the
Stamping Ground #117 (116?) Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday. I don't know if the computer wires got to Julia or what she has #116, I had that last week and she also says to look at her new glass, she loves the color, Well I went to get my glasses as I did not see hers...Oh Well it's too early here for me to be sure but I did find them. Was like one of those puzzles in my monthly magazine, looking for 8 things different in 2 photos. Way too early for me to be doing this!!! For not really using my desk much, it seems to be changing with things added now and then to be put away later.
The cardstock is a world map, with a paper compass...was trying to find a place to visit!!!! Not really just couldn't muster up details for a challenge. I have really been cleaning the rest of the area and the large storage area this week. Putting out "Fall Decor" and enjoying some wonderful outside weather.
This little photo is a $1.00 find at the Prairie Quilters garage sale fund raiser!!! What fun that was. A first time for them and what a huge success. It was donations of mostly quilting supplies, but many tables of odds and ends for other crafts, lots of wonderful crafting books, and some of these old "VINTATE" finds. Hoping they do it more often. Their prices were wonderful for a buyers market!!
Hoping to post FarmLand pictures later this week. My husband has the fever...all the machinery is being lined up in the yard for him to start inspection. I can hardly stand the noise.

I like that map cardstock - could sit and look at that for ages. I love any map, in fact, I like looking at all the names and all the old roads and lanes, many of which have Prehistoric/Roman origins in my part of England. That silvery box in the background looks pretty too! Great bargain hunting, I wish I had to patience to go to car boot sales, but I just don't...ah well! Hugs, LLJ xx

ooo, Sylvia you do have some lovely stash there are there a lot of things - do love a bargain but can never get out of doors in time as dont feel well early so never really go to garage sales etc. thanks for popping over Shaz in oz.x
Looks like you found some great bargains. Its noisy here too today. We have workmen digging up the road outside our house. BUT the sun is shining so I am happy! x jo
