It's WOYWW #136...

It's kinda like here in the States "Here's Johnny"  way back when.  Now it's really "Here's Julia" and her blog fun at the Stamping Ground. Not familiar...hop over to her well designed fun and hop on the band wagon. It's a world of happy peepers.
Still quite tidy..I've made a few ATC's for a Valentine Swap and will share them with you after they are passed out.. So far I haven't even spent much time shopping for NEW items for this event.. I made a New Years idea in my head!!!  use what I got please.

I must apologize to all of you for not commenting this past week, (will try to make the rounds this time and check out last weeks also,)but my DH whisked me away on a surprise little get away, and the laptop was not able to be used in our motel. Total Disappointment, but I couldn't say anything.. He just wanted to take advantage of (no not me)but the unseasonable wonderful weather, which makes traveling in Iowa in winter sometimes impossible very far away from home.

Upon our return..I've had lots of body aches..way too much walking and so I have been dealing with DOMS, Relief  is soaking in hot water and popping Advil and time.  My son says 3 to 5 days recovery and I should be getting a massage and continue to walk!!! I can only shuffle about so how's that going to work? This age thing is not so fun.

Thanks for stopping by. It was about 57 degrees here today with LOTS of sunshine and tonight a FULL moon..  Have a wonderful week.

Hope the soaking in the bath helps! How lovely to be whisked away on a surprise trip though - what a thoughtful hubby! It is very mild in the UK too, the plants are getting ahead of themselves. We need a good hard frost to kill off the germs!!

Very nice and tidy desk! It is strange how unseasonably warm it has been this year. I have heard it is caused by la Nina! who knows! I wouldn't worry about trying to catch up just start from here. Some weeks are just that way. Thanks for sharing and have a great week! Vickie #50

The only thing I've been whisked away to is a sink full of dirty dishes! Hoping you recover nicely. Our weather is unseasonably warm too!

Hi there Sylvia, thanks so much for popping over, and for sharing. Am glad you had a surprise time away - and do have your access to homoeopath? if so Arnica 200cc is just brilliant after gardening or any unaccustomed exercise or even rub the Arnica cream or ointment in where it hurts after the soak in the tub! Happy WOYWW! love, Shaz in Oz. x #30

I really do sympathesise with you having aches and pains...I seem to live my life on the edge with them [and how do you know you've done too much til it's too late?]. Hope they all settle down for you soon so you can enjoy your fun time.

You have a very impressive desk and quite neat at that. It sounds like you are having similar weather as I am having in KS. It's been fun checking out your work space this week. I'm thrilled to be back online and look forward to many more visits.

Happy WOYWW (#3).

You can tell your desk is a happy desk -- well loved and well used!!

Here in New Mexico we are still having cold temperatures and wind - hate the wind. Don't think snow is in the forecast for the next few days.

How lovely for Hubby to whisk you away for a bit. It's a good resolution to have, use up your stash, but I'd be setting myself up for a fall!! We're supposed to get soem realy snow finally here in Michigan this weekend, but we'll see about that!

Oh bless you - I do hope the aches and pains soon disappear. I am so lucky and grateful to be a fit 60 year old - it means I can help my little sis who has arthritis - we make a good team! Have a good week. x Jo

Sylvia...so sorry to hear you've not been feeling well!! To be honest, I thought sure by the time I got over to visit, your unseasonable weather would be long gone...what's up with that?!? And now you've gone and overdone it and can't get out to enjoy it more. Sure hate to hear it...hope it is short lived! Sounds like we're expecting a little winter storm in the next 48 hours here...they are predicting 0 degrees and a couple inches of snow by Fri. AM. I guess it's time. Do take care of yourself! Love your little homemade flower on the previous post!!

Lovely treat to be whisked away and I do envy your weather. We went away before Christmas and came home 4 days early due to rain, rain and more rain. Did I add it was cold too and way out in the country in a huge thatched inn.

Oh Sylvia, I hope once the aches have passed that you can look back and say that you enjoyed being whisked away to make the most of the weather! Your son is right ( but you know that!)....stay as mobile as you can, don't let the bones force you into seizing up!
