I have had some time this week to create and organize..just not much time to be blogging about it!!!
Previous to this I shared a "CHILLY" recipe...we had a COLD, WET weekend.
Julia over at the STAMPING GROUND is getting close to celebrating another anniversary. So stop over and see what she is presenting to celebrate. I've got mine started and having fun working with "Tiny".
Here a few wooden Alpha letters, some chipboard, distress inks, a few treasures from a garage sale.
Salt&Pepper shakers, 2 little ladies, a green bottle, some tiny trays and spoons. Altered Art around the corner? Hope so.
I tried to make a journal cover, but just not the right items here to make it what I wanted.
Had worked on it for a Challenge but when I saw the competition, I bowed out.. WOW some are so talented...layers and layers.

I like your journal cover especially the paper it is one of my favourties so much so I purchased a reem and only have a few sheets left.

Great garage sale finds.I love the shakers! Aw am sorry you were intimidated by the competition..you had no need to be, your journal is lovely. It doesn't and shouldnt always take layers and layers...it's about pleasing your own sense of art. And knowing when to stop!!

Ohh I think your journal cover is lovely ... don't be put off because of what other's submit. We always underestimate our work and really as long as we enjoy doing art it is all wonderful.

I like your journal cover but I totally understand the need to bow out of some of those challenges out there. I know I don't make slop but I don't make multi-layered covered in embellishment and everything just so wonderful things either. So I think everyone must laugh at me when I do join, so I'll just watch. Love all the little treasures on your desk. You'll have fun playing with them.

Your journal cover is beautiful and very worthy of any challenge - I love it. I also love all the bits and bobs on your desk - I visited a blog where someone had a load of vintage glass salt and pepper shakers like yours (and some sugar shakers) and she had filled them with her different coloured glitters - I just loved that idea!

Been a busy week for me chasing my tail. Got Chuck off yesterday for his stormchase tour... www.tempesttours.com He is their veteran/expert tornado chasers and he loves taking the tours out. Means time for me to do some fun things I like to do I went to a crop yesterday, I am catching up here today and going to a movie later.
