WOYWW #242

For me An EARLY morning Welcome.

Oh it's Wednesday already and Julia has many who participate in What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday
She has all the details here:  STAMPING GROUND

I spent the best part of 3 days once again redoing my crafty space. I moved the big table here to the opposite side of the room.  Topped it with the big old bench that took up too much space by our bar and tv. I thing it makes a nice added space for "STUFF"...of which was mostly on the floor or crammed someplace.

And these 2 tables were moved over to where the big old heavy table was.  Mostly for lighting purposes and so I could better access the punches on this wall. My short legs and arms could never reach across the big table to use these with out standing on an insecure little stool.   Much better arrangement.
I also sorted items to make space for some lace and fabric and will donate it next trip to our thrift shop.

It's been a hectic week already, bad weather  (-Temps, wind, snow and blizzard conditions) I did venture out to deliver my cards to our little antique shop earlier today. A slow safe drive on some icy roads.
Then started on some kids cards. It's been a while since I stamped and colored images. But I need more cards that are mailable. And thanks to Glenda for some tips on ink, that won't bleed while using Copics and ideas on paper stock. Any one have a recipe for patience?

Here's hoping things are well your way, and that our lost sunshine is visiting your area. Have a fun week and thanks for stopping by.

Good to know that your rearranging has all been worthwhile...you'll wonder why you didn't do it before!! I love sorting out, sad huh?

We are on the Southern end of the storm and just got frigid temps. Just a dusting of snow and 9 degrees but the sun is shining. We are supposed to be cold here for a few days then a warming trend. Your weather makes me want to snuggle down. Hope you were able to use some of the suggestions I gave...always glad to help if I can. Love your space, I would love to be turned loose in there for about a week!

Re-arranging is always fun! It looks like you did a great job. As for the recipe for patience - meditation of course!

One time I was looking for retired stamp and a lady had seen it at her stamp store so she gave me their phone number. I called them up and they were more than happy to sell it and mail it to me and did I need any other crafting assistance? I had just bought a few Copics and noticed that they smeared that Versafine ink I used. I asked about it and she said Memento ink and sold me a black pad. I'm so, so, SO grateful that she asked because that was a godsend to me. As far as paper, I use Neenah 80-lb weight that I pick up by the ream at the office supply store. I have a 110-lb weight ream too. Great stuff. Anyway, rearranging your room can be fun especially when you make it more functional. You also find things you forgot you had and that stimulates your creativity. Enjoy your revamped space!

Your space looks very workable to me. That tall rack is fab. Rearranging helps not only on productivity but creativity I have found. I hope you find more of both in the redone space. Susanne #66

Sylvia,
I wanted to thank you for stopping by my "True Love Tags" post and leaving such warm comments on my work, this is much appreciated.
The weather here in upstate Vermont has been very cold and with the winds blowing which seems like every single minute, the temps are much worse. I am so ready for spring to arrive. The winters usually do not bother me that much, but this one has been way to cold, burrrrr!!!
Have a wonderful rest of the week.
Hugs
Michele
