Tis the Season to be Jolly ! OK, I'm hoping that soon sets into my little head. Tis the day to share our workspaces also, Julia at STAMPING GROUND gives us the chance to share, snoop and enjoy a few hours of fun...Stop on over, she has all the info.
My Creative Space
Click on the photo to enlarge, not too much activity, was hoping to get a few Christmas items finished but happy to have the desk so I can sit at it and have space. I have made a 40th Anniversary card and helped our friends celebrate
and a few Sympathy Cards. An elderly couple, growing up neighbors, and 2nd cousin to my DH were in an auto accident which took both their lives. A huge funereal, 10 grown children, 35 grandkids, and 19 great grandchildren. So one of the reasons for not doing WOYWW that week. It's always sad, you never saw one without the other but for them to be together was a blessing, as if one survived the other no doubt would not have been able to go back home to be alone. Rest in Peace dear friends.
Was not really going to do too much decorating, but to keep busy with the fun decorations I have. I have spread it out daily and am happy I have some twinkling lights in most of the rooms. TIS the SEASON!!! Enjoy whatever season you have...We will have the 50's by Friday. So will enjoy it. It's been an up and down year, in more ways than that.

I'm supervising the munchkins playing happily with their Lego so grabbing a few minutes to do a dash round some of my favourite blogs.
So very sorry to hear your news...it's always sadder at Christmas time.

Beautiful card but so sad to hear about that couple. A little part of me thinks what a great way for them to start their next journey though... being together was probably what they would have wanted.
I'm trying to get into the Christmassy mood but it's proving difficult. The boxes of decorations are just looking at me!
I hope you can smile with WOYWW through this week ;D

We don't overdo the Christmas decor either, but the twinkling lights are a must! We sometimes leave them out for the whole winter! They make the long dark nights more bearable! Thanks for visiting my blog earlier! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #40
Do you know, I couldn't agree more....while it's terribly sad what happened, they were together and will be forever. Hard for friends and family though.... Sending you a big hug xx
I like your space, it's not too manic and that 40th card is simple but really lovely!

So sad, but good that they went together, and hopefully didn't suffer too much. A very hard time for all their family and friends - such a shock, and more poignant because of the season. Hugs, Chris # 13
OMG what a terrible accident! But you are right it is a blessing, they are together. It is very sad though.
But there is a nice anniversary coming up for you on Friday. Congrats 50 wow!
Cheers

So sorry to hear about the accident but as you said best to go together. My dad isn't handling mums passing away very well, so hard on him. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas, keep smiling.
