WOYWW # 311

Hello Everyone.

Just cannot believe my last post was last week Wednesday. So busy and yet so much yet to do.
It is the day of the week that we share our workspaces.  Julia at the STAMPING GROUND  hosts this fun day and she has all the facts on her blog if you want to join the fun.

I've a LOT of May birthdays, so tried to get the most necessary ones done today and back to working on my ATC's.

My granddaughter has a 10th birthday next week. She is quite the little athelete, so this card was made with her colors, her #, and a "Motto" inside.  The 10 tag will attach to her gift.  The little baseball paper pouches  will hold money for her and her brother who had a birthday in April.

I got quite innovative with the # sign.  Didn't have one so used the Tim Holtz fence die and cut it to resemble the # .    Matching "blues" took me the longest on these projects.

I also made a card for my brother in law and my husband, will post at a later date as I know some family pop in.

Our weather has been so cold, rainy and windy. Actually running the furnace again and wearing jeans and sweatshirts. Put the blanket back on the bed.   34 last night and in the 40's today.  Hopefully it warms up by the weekend. As our neighboring town is having a 4 day celebration with the closing of our school.  So will be lots of Alumni back and much to keep us entertained.

Thanks for stopping by. And thanks for all the lovely comments last week.

Sorry your weather has reverted back to cold! We have been having beautiful Spring/Summer temps and loads of sunshine. It's a very good thing! Hoping you have the same soon! As always I love your space. Your cards are great and will be much loved! Glenda #28

Hi Sylvia.Last week I put the wrong link on my link up with Julia, and I missed a couple of posts. Sounds more like our Winter than your Spring/Summer. Like the look of your desk, busy but organised.
Thanks for the visit.

Oh well done for using what resources you have to make the hashtag!! I love the big number 10 too, as I'm sure, will your granddaughter!!
It is cold where you are...I'll stop complaining about our temperatures here in the UK where it's been below average for a couple of weeks now!!

That is so clever of you, I would never have thought of using fencing to make a hashtag.Gosh it is cold, I am feeling fed up with the May weather we are having, we need sunshine but although I keep ordering some it never arrives.

Although the sun is out at the moment, it is still very cold at night so the heating is definitely on. I have really enjoyed seeing what is on your desk this week and I very much like your saying on the right. Thank you for your visit this week and your kind comments. Hope you get everything done and enjoy the return of the old students. xx Maggie #62

You were so creative in making a # sign out of a fence die. Love that! I have a granddaughter who is turning 10 this summer, too. She's into competitive swimming and does very well. No numbers on the swimsuits, though. LOL
