#347 WOYWW

Welcome and Happy what's on your Wednesday workspace.  Julia from the STAMPING GROUND is our host. And she has all the fun and info on her blog.

My desk shows that I am gathering Valentine supplies from pretty heart boxes I've saved over the years.   Now to get the MoJo to create some. I've lots of ideas, but seemed to get sidetracked. But the days are counting down quickly so I'd better get busy.

Short and sweet, I am meeting my niece from California (here on a 2 day visit) at my mothers. My sister will also join us for lunch.  Have a wonderful WOYWW day and thanks for stopping by.

Prayers for Kaelyn

Life some times throws a curve ball.  I've spent sometime with tears, praying, asking questions, and wondering why.  My solution:  It's all in God's Plan and reminded myself to have FAITH.

Many years ago I met a wonderful young lady, (who was given away at birth), as she grew into a lovely mother, she found her birth father.  He was a very good friend of mine and I shared my place for them to meet. She was from Utah and he was from Iowa.  A long story short,  we became good friends.  I've visited her, met her family and she comes back to Iowa for visits.

Well she is now a Young grandmother. Her beautiful twin daughters are mothers and her grand daughter Kaelyn, is 4 years old.

Taken from her Facebook page:

There is no doubt in my mind that the Lord is always there to comfort us! After many tests, the doctors have confirmed that our beautiful little girl, Kaelyn, has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. As we continue to come to terms with the prognosis, we ask for your prayers as Kaelyn begins the chemotherapy treatments. Our sweet, sassy, stubborn girl is a fighter, and we know our Heavenly Father has and will continue to help us all get through this. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers! She is in good spirits and is LOVING the special "princess" treatment!

After her port put in and 1st Chemo Treatment.   She is now home and going for treatments at the cancer center.

I cannot imagine what this family is going through. Kaelyn has 2 brothers  2 1/2 and the youngest was born in Sept so the mother and father are very busy. All I know is .. don't take things for granted.
I am praying and believing that all is in God's hands and with hope and love  everyone will be able to cope and little Kaelyn will remain strong and vibrant.

God Bless Her and Her Family.

WOYWW #346

Welcome,  it's in the wee hours of Wednesday and  before I go back to bed or start a new project, will post my desk as it is WOYWW and Ms. Julia has her blog  Stamping Ground  ready for our posting. For some reason the big cat has been waking me at 4 AM for food, a habit soon to be broken. I awaken, feed them, as his brother gets up, sits quietly waiting too. If I go back to bed it's mid morning when I get up and I hate it.  Or I stay up and need to take a nap midday.  Not my kind of plan.

It has been frigid here..-3  with wind chill of -30, so it's too cool downstairs for any length of time to work/play in my crafty area.  We missed the snow and a warm up of 30's in the forecast so maybe I can muster up MOJO and start on many card ideas I have floating around in my head.

My CD player downstairs is on the fritz and researching online shopping shows me I need to up date the way I listen to music. It's a 5 carousel and last week the drawer locked up, online YouTube showed me how to fix it.Took it apart etc and then did the lens cleaning thing.  But now it is skipping parts of the cd or changing too soon to the next one.  It's 10 years old, so wanted to update but not finding my $$$$ range and don't want a 1 disc player.  Nothing seems simple.

I brought up a Martha Stewart clay making kit I bought for 1/2 price some time ago and thought I'd play around with it.  A little frame mold, a heart, rosette, and some doll faces/ and an air dry clay were also available. Can paint them any color when they are dry. So will see if I use them.

I another post today I'll share some sad news and a few puzzles I've been working on. But may your day be an enjoyable WOYWW kind of day . Thanks for stopping by,

WOYWW #344

Welcome, so glad you stopped by. It's time to share our desks, Julia at the STAMPING GROUND   is our host and has all the info for you to play along.

Rearranged, out with Christmas, in with Valentines. Then hope for MoJo to take over
Above some metal trays for mixed media metal, I plan to sort in small containers. A lace piece, a miss placed angel ornament, a pretty flower I ordered from a mixed media gal.
To the left of my desk sits a table I use for paper sizing, but it's always loaded up with seasonal extras, I've a few treasured candy heart boxes full of embellishments, wool hearts I felted, and paper cut outs.

Our holidays were great, I got the puzzle together
Hopefully will have time to do another one later in the week. This was a 1000 pc and no doubt the hardest I've ever had to work with in all these years. Maybe an age thing?

Our weather turned cold 20 degrees and bitter winds, so a good day to stay in and pack up the Santa's, Christmas fabric items, put away the Angel tree and maybe will pack up the Nativities later today.
I'll keep out the Snowmen and the twinkling light trees awhile yet,  I enjoy them and not ready for anything flowery yet.  I may try to decorate a small Valentine tree in a week or so.

Thanks for stopping by, always happy to ready your kind comments.  Have a wonderful WOYWW kind of day.
