It has been frigid here..-3 with wind chill of -30, so it's too cool downstairs for any length of time to work/play in my crafty area. We missed the snow and a warm up of 30's in the forecast so maybe I can muster up MOJO and start on many card ideas I have floating around in my head.
My CD player downstairs is on the fritz and researching online shopping shows me I need to up date the way I listen to music. It's a 5 carousel and last week the drawer locked up, online YouTube showed me how to fix it.Took it apart etc and then did the lens cleaning thing. But now it is skipping parts of the cd or changing too soon to the next one. It's 10 years old, so wanted to update but not finding my $$$$ range and don't want a 1 disc player. Nothing seems simple.
I brought up a Martha Stewart clay making kit I bought for 1/2 price some time ago and thought I'd play around with it. A little frame mold, a heart, rosette, and some doll faces/ and an air dry clay were also available. Can paint them any color when they are dry. So will see if I use them.
I another post today I'll share some sad news and a few puzzles I've been working on. But may your day be an enjoyable WOYWW kind of day . Thanks for stopping by,

Brrrrrr it sure sounds cold over at yours but was actually -4 here this morning when I got up at silly o'clock to go to do the school run with the little ones. It looks like you've been having fun with the clay....hope they paint well for you.
Have a great week.

My daughter 21 now, got into clay lately, she loves it, I bet is very therapeutic. I can't wait to see them after you paint them. I hope you come visit me, Clemencia #38
Oh the clay work looks fun. I have some molds but rarely use them. Sorry to hear about Kaelyn, hope you receive some positive news soon.Take care Zo xx 39
We seem to be being forced into accepting modern technology, don't we? I don't want downloaded music, thank you, I'm happy with CDs, so I know just how you feel! I hope you find a replacement. Those little moulds are pretty aren't they? What will you use them for?

Now you have made me want to play with clay! It's snowing here this morning. Sort of a rare sight for us here in East Tennessee! Glenda #31
I too have an old music centre that jumps in the middle of some CDs but I guess that too needs updating. Looking forward to see what you do with the clay. I will say a Prayer for Kaelyn too x Jackie 32
The clay work looks pretty - the little heart is lovely and I like the dolls faces too, although I've never seen moulds for dolls like that before. I hope you have a good week and many thanks for stopping by my desk earlier.

Thanks for your visit earlier, I am addicted to ATCs. I will send you an email with the info.
Love those clay works, I've not used any molds. I am still using a Walkman Tape player - how sad am I? lol
Have a good week

Those clay pieces are good! I have some moulds too, which reminds me I ought to get them out!

Nice to see some crafting but I think this post is overshadowed by the one above. Thank you for sharing the story of a long time ago and now let us all include our prayers for that sweet little girl.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx
