WOYWW #348

Welcome to my world of wind and snow.  There is about 8 to 12 inches of  snow that keeps rearranging itself in drifts throughout our area. Everything was closed yesterday and no travel was advised, I'm sure it will be the same today. I miss my mail. My windows are plastered full of snow as the wind direction keeps changing. The good thing about it is I can spend visiting the Wednesday workspaces..  Julia our hostess at the STAMPING GROUND has the info and places to visit listed on her blog.

I rearranged my cutting table just in back of this desk, dusted and boxed up some unused items. These  sorted out game pieces etc, need to be put in my embellishment drawer system. I took down the dauber sticks and decided to use the old wooden tray for a while. The blue ice cube tray can help out if I add new colors. Don't know where I'm going with the glass desert dishes yet.  Hoping I get to paint the little clay molds for use in my next card or tag projects. They turned out great.
This is the desk to the right of my main work area....had a few glue projects. The music box Railroad just fell apart, no doubt from the dry air here in the house during winter.

I continue to pray for my friends grand daughter, they now have cut her hair and the "Hair Fairy" has come and made her smile. More on this from another post last week. Prayers for Kaelyn and thank you to all who have made such wonderful comments and are praying for her.  I just cannot imagine how they are all adjusting.

Thanks for your visit, I'm off to have some waffles with berries, put some ribs in the crockpot, whispering a few more prayers as my DH takes his tractor to town to help clean out driveways. The roads are a mess. I will be back to make my visits and get inspired.   Have a wonderful WOYWW kind of day.

On another note I've noticed 10 of my followers are gone. No doubt because of the new BLOGGER thing..If you cannot comment it is because of this change.  Will have to see how it all pans out.  It is only commenting and following that you will be prevented from doing if you arent a Google+ account holder.

Hi Sylvia, this Blogger change is really annoying, I agree. I think I may end up like Julia going over to Wordpress. I did actually have my blog on there once, as I was having a dreadful time with Blogger refusing to load pictures, can't for the life of me remember why I went back! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #20 xx

I refuse to join google + but as yet can still comment....watch this space as they say.
I've had a really busy day with sewing and avoiding the wet paint and am just catching up with some of my blogging friends.

Hugs,

Hi Sylvia, I like snow when I'm away skiing but don't really want it at home. It's colder here today. Google are a pain at times but I understand that they are trying to protect us, just wish they wouldn't keep altering stuff! Wishing you a great week and a happy woyww, Angela x 24

Whoa, people won't even be able to comment? That seems like a mess, good grief.

SO much snow, where we are in Missouri, we've managed to dodge most of the nasty weather this year!

Happy WOYWW to you,
:)trisha too

Snow. Yuck. You can keep it. Ours has finally melted (mostly apart from the snow piles) as the temperature has actually got above freezing. I like the bits and pieces on your desk - looks like they'd be fun to play with.

Have a great week!

When it's cold and snowy outside, then playing in your craft room is the best thing to do! Hope you're having fun! I don't see the problem with joining Google plus, you have to register to buy anything online these days. It is annoying about losing followers but hey oh, the world is still turning :-)

I think google are switching off non-joiners in swathes, still have a lot of followers who I'm very sure won't be able to follow or comment soon. It makes me mad. Funny isn't it, when you're indoors and have to stay out, you want nothing more than to get out. Your husbands gesture is amazing. Thinking hard of Karalyn. Xx

We got about a foot of snow, too, with lots of blowing and drifting. More snow predicted tomorrow and Friday. Oh, joy. That means more shoveling. Stay warm and safe and enjoy some crafting time.

We have had a few really warm rainy days lately but cold is coming back today. The snow is gone and I know you long for Spring. I too have lost followers and it sickens me as I worked so hard to gain them. Love to see your spaces and try and stay warm!

Ugh......That's all I seem to do in my craft room is re-organize.....I can't find a system that works. Too much stuff unfortunately and too many thoughts of "I'll make THAT and sell it on Etsy" (eyeroll). Yeah......rightttttt.......There are times where I just want to get rid of it ALL! Anyway, enough of my pitty party. I really hope everything works out for your friend's granddaughter. Prayers and blessing to Kaelyn. Stay warm and safe Sylvia!

Hope the wee one is going to be alright.
Lovely pictures of your desk. Just the place to be when there is snow - which is always lovely on a card but that is about all.
Sorry I am late - have an ulcer now on my leg plus jet lag!

I miss snow. LOL. As I read your post, I imagined myself sitting in your home watching the flakes rearrange against the window. Thanks for sharing with us. Creative Blessings! ~Kelly

Your desk looks so well organized!
I´d love to get alot of snow here also. We don´t have winter at all here... Just raining. Even if we live in Scandinavia and are used to white winters. Very strange.

Wish you a nice week!
