My desk, only visited long enough to make a few sympathy cards. DH's Aunt 103 yrs old passed Sunday. She would have been 104 on the 7th. Was still tatting at 99 and gave up her apartment to reside at the Manor.
We were again gone most of the week. Having the floor of our bathroom put in today and next week our fixtures should arrive.
Storms are headed our way this afternoon. We need rain, but not the hail, winds and destruction caused last night near by counties. Have beets, green beans, cucumbers to clean. Made zucchini pancakes for breakfast and they were so delicious. So looks like my day is all planned out. I'll be around to visit during my breaks !! I need coffee you know.
Enjoy a lovely week

Hello Sylvia. Condolences to your husband and family, she lived a long life and saw the world around her go though so many changes. Love the lace trim on your desk looks like you have been in a very busy state fussy cutting it out. I do hope the storm that is coming passes you by as I know the weather hasn't been great in many places we have been lucky that the worst of the storms has passed somewhat over where we live....knock on wood. I do hope for good weather soon as summer in northern Canada is far to short and not looking forward to the winter months again at all. Have a wonderful Wednesday. Hugs ~Anne L#3
Condolences to your family on your loss. What an amazing woman she must have been. I hear you on the storms. We got hit for a flash one this morning here in central MO. At least I'm not needing to water the garden. LOL Creative Blessings! Kelly #30
Sylvia, peace and blessings to you and yours on your loss. You sound like you are a busy bee between the bathroom, crafts and garden goodies! My goodness! I would love to taste those pancakes for sure! Have a great rest of the week! Blessings, Felicia #36
Condolences to your family on the passing of such a grand old lady. What a life she must have had for over a century.
Notice you are a farm girl at heart so am sure the cooking and harvesting is something you enjoy doing - hope it went well today.
Thanks for visiting me earlier - have a good week.

I seem to be struggling to get my desk posted. I love playing along but since Heartfelt posts on Wednesday it is difficult for me to get both posts in. Your desk always looks so interesting and I would love to be able to come and share a cup of coffee. So sorry for your loss.
Sorry to hear about your loss. She sounds like a wonderful lady.
Your desk looks like it has a lot going on. The cards look nice.

So sorry you needed to make sympathy cards, Sylvia. I'm glad your DH's aunt had a long and healthy life, but it's still hard to lose someone we love.
My kettle is on if you fancy popping in for a coffee :-). I hope the rain didn't do too much damage to the crops...nature can wreak havoc sometimes. And I'm sorry about DH's aunt passing, but what an amazing age. She sounds as if she was quite a gal. Imagine all the inventions and new things she saw throughout her long life.
Hugs, LLJ xxx
