My desk:
a few finds from the Used shop...wanted old sheet music to make some feathers, pieces of lace, my 1 inch "New" punch and to the left a new deck of cards "Purple Hat Ladies" Somehow I have a "Thing" for Pretty or Fun Playing Cards.. I wish they kept the decks with a few missing so I would use them for the project in mind... I hate to break up a great deck for use of a few project cards.
I made her a card but somewhere in the photo transfer it was eliminated...my photos would not load unless I made a delete of 8 photos and that must have been part of the issue. I will check with her if I can retake and then share that project.
Another September birthday card
and a few others posted on a previous post HERE if you are interested.
Thanks for visiting, and enjoy a lovely week.

What lovely cards! Sometimes I just want to hide in my art! The world is getting more and more horrible! Here in the Philippines we have a madman for a President that we have to pray for every day. What spews forth from his mouth is death death death! But I think he is really mad (as in sick!), as in Deuteronomy 28: 25 The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will come at them from one direction but flee from them in seven, and you will become a thing of horror to all the kingdoms on earth. 26 Your carcasses will be food for all the birds and the wild animals, and there will be no one to frighten them away. 27 The Lord will afflict you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, festering sores and the itch, from which you cannot be cured. 28 The Lord will afflict you with madness, blindness and confusion of mind. Sorry for the seriousness!!!
Morning Sylvia. No, we cannot conceive what goes on in people's minds to perpetrate such acts of apparent mindless violence and hatred. More and more, as I seed the state of the world, I turn to God and cry for His mercy, and for folk to turn to Him - to see His heart of love and compassion for them.
Thank you for showing those cards, too, on a day where your heart must be breaking for your land. That multi heart die is beautiful.
Take care. God bless.

Hi Sylvia, I hate breaking up card decks as well. You'd think some enterprising manufacturer would put some mixed packs together for crafters. Hope your sister enjoys her retirement. Happy WOYWW Sarah #20

Hello girl! Your desk looks super busy today! Have a great rest of the week!
I really like the balloons card - that the individual balloons are not each coloured, but stamped onto a background of red oval shapes - gives it such movement! Great desk today! Thanks for sharing, have a great day! Lindart #32

What pretty cards you have been making.
It was terrible to hear about the shooting in Vegas - so much senseless killing these days - what on earth is going on in the world?
Wow, City Clerk sounds an important job - good luck with her retirement - get her crafting!

I have some new feather dies, but haven't used them yet. I'd love to see what you have made with feathers. Congrats to your sister. I hope she enjoys her retirement years. Your cards today are great. Love them both!
What great cards. The balloon one is fab, and looks so effective with your coloring technique - I love the freedom you've given the balloons. Congratulations to your sister - I hope she has a happy and fulfilling retirement.
