WOYWW # 436

Welcome, another Wednesday that just flew by. Time to share our desks and Ms.Julia at the STAMPING GROUND has all the WOYWW info.  It's addicting.  And I am looking for MoJo.

My one long 8 ft table is separated into 2 work spaces.
Sorted out the flower dies and have a space to start making extras.
The large paper flower display is a copy from an awesome old fabric piece I found. just love the colors.

It's been a busy/emotional week. Mother sprang her ankle so since no help was available at her assisted living she was sent to stay at the nursing home for therapy. Any thing out of her norm is upsetting as with dementia she gets very confused. Help Wanted everyplace you go. No one wants to work.

Hubby has been trying to work steadily in the fields and all we have is small amounts of rain to make a 2 day wait. We were close to done in the fields last year at this time. Hardly a dent in harvest so far this year. He did some corn removal here at the farm so the cows/calves could be put out to graze on stalks and corn..only the tiny calf can clear the electric fence and has been out and about the road way.

Thanks for visiting, have a wonderful week ahead

That copy of a piece of fabric really is gorgeous and I have to agree with you about the colours - they are beautiful. Hope your mum's ankle gets better soon, it must be very distressing for her having such changes to her routine.
Have a good week, and I hope the harvesting gets done,

I love that copy of the fabric too - it looks like a still life painting! Hope you find something interesting to do with it. Sorry to hear about your mum, it's so upsetting when their routine is changed. I hope things improve really quickly.

Hi Sylvia, sorry to hear about your mum, it must be upsetting and frustrating all round. Good luck with the rest of the harvest (it's pelting it down here as I comment). Sarah #20

Hello Sarah. Not surprised your mojo has taken a walk - you have so much going on around you. Hope your mum is soon settled, and that the wee calf learns soon where home is!
Take care. God bless.

Hope your mum's ankle recovers soon. such a disorienting disease, remember my mum always being so confused. Just looking at that flower die, think that was the one I meant to get rather than the one I did.... may have to go shopping again lol! Helen #2

Sorry to hear of yet another one with mum problems - I hope she will soon be better. We had a recent crisis with my mum too - she doesn't have dementia as such but was in a very confused state having fallen and hit her head and was in hospital for a bit. She's back in her care home now. She is 96. Love your desk - what a fascinating rack you've got to hang things on! It looks so bright and cheerful with all the pretty colours, and I love the fabric-inspired project.

Happy WOYWW,
