My desk shows lots of goodies from a thrift store for under $1. I've been sorting papers for making another journal. With the holidays approaching I have to get a few cards created also.
Last week we had great weather, 3 funerals and visits with lots of families losing loved ones.
I took some time to paint some wooden things waiting for a sunshiny day and no wind.
Even the little yellow moths were enjoying some time out. There were 3x as many here until I closed in on them for the photo.
And Bailey our cat loves watching them from window to window.

You were up late Sylvia, bet there’s been no lying in this morning! You did well for $1 items, and I love that you’ve found time to paint up all those pieces. At least when we have to hibernate through the worst weather you’ll have plenty of stuff to choose from when you feel like doing something. I’m so sorry that Funerals have been your major feature this week, it happens like that, weirdly. Your visiting and presence with the families is very generous of you, I don’t doubt that they’ve loved seeing you. Life isn’t so bad when even the moths are stopping to soak a bit of late sun..long may it continue!
Three funerals must have been tough this week, so I'm sending hugs. Those painted wooden items look great, I hope you show us the rest of the transformations. Lovely to see those yellow moths, how wonderful!

Wow those moths are so vibrant! You found a lot of goodies at the thrift. There is nothing like a good bargain. I love the little hangers and you know, while I look at them, I think I might have some of them somewhere in my craft closet abyss!! Have a great day!

Love the dollar store!! I've been getting a lot of my fall decorations there - one of our local dollar stores just expanded to 3X it's original size! Looks like found a lot of treasures there! Inky says "meow" to Bailey, I hope he has fun with the moths! Have a great week, Lindart #25
