WOYWW #565

Welcome to another What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.  Julia at the Stamping Ground hosts this every week. She welcomes anyone to play along  or just visit others from any where in the world.

Thanks for all the comments last week.  Guess we all have time with this confinement adventure.  Visiting helped pass some  time.

My desk:

Some new  flower stamps from ebay, and quite a few Easter rabbits that I am using on a project for the 3 girls in Jersey.  They are young enough to love mail and working in books. Quite the little artists.

I got 6 of these blank books for $3 at target long ago, so wrote a note inside the cover and traced or stamped a few things every other page. (rabbits, a big heart, a big egg, etc)  Decorated the mailing envelope and will add Easter cards  and mail this coming week.  Now if I could just get them to mail me SOMETHING !

I also made a birthday card for an 85 year old lady who use to be my neighbor growing up. She is just a hoot. Still working part time, delivering prescription drugs in her town and working part time in the grocery's liquor store, serving samples !   And she is a "Red Hat" lady.  She'd be the one in the middle. !

Thanks for stopping by, May you and yours Stay Safe and Enjoy Home.

Hi Sylvia. Like you,I'm so blessed for my crafts and this wonderful group we belong to...we have so much to thank Julia for don't we?
I am avoiding too much news lately. I find the 10 o'clock news fills my head with anxiety and I'm then awake half the night thinking so we catch up on the news each morning for any necessary updates then we only watch light entertainment.
Stay safe and keep busy my friend.
Hugs,

I'm sure the girls will love these Easter gifts! It is hard to get loved ones to write in this day and age of computers and the internet. But I still love mail! Stay well my friend!

Love the card - your old neighbour sounds like a good girl who'll appreciate the humour! I remember my mum used to do Meals on Wheels and deliver hot meals to people who were younger than she was! The Easter books are a great idea for the youngsters, they'll love filling the pages in!

That's a nice busy desk, Sylvia, and I love the idea of the "Red Hat Society" - I'd definitely be a member! I adore that poem...

Hi Sylvia. Sorry I'm a bit late getting round everyone this week.
I love your red hat lady, she sounds amazing. Your girls will love their happy mail I'm sure and you might be surprised, they might just return some to you too. I know a lot of the children at school have been writing to their grandparents and sending things to them as well as video calling. I think we will appreciate sending and receiving actual post far more when we emerge from the other side of this strange time.
Take care and enjoy your week

That is a great idea for your three little ones, how thrilling it will be for them each to get some mail.
Your red hat lady sounds awfully busy, maybe that is what is keeping her so young.
Stay safe and well

I’m sorry I’m late dear Sylvia, I have a problem with time management now I have so much of it! I love the idea of the notebooks for the girls, a thoughtful enough little gift anyway, but tracing pictures onto the pages is just genius! They’ll love them. Like your tray of Easter rabbits, so nice to have a few choices when working on a specific theme. I’m not doing a lot of FB (long story) so miss your regular posts - hope the weather is continuing to improve and you can spend some time out in the fresh air when you feel like it.Stay well. Xx
