WOYWW #622

Welcome, the wee hours of the morning here, and hard to believe it's Wednesday. The week went so fast. It's time to visit What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday, over at Ms. Julia's blog  Here. Her desk has some loveliness today.

My desk: wanted a larger photo but today I cannot make it happen,  ??? Just glad I can post a photo

a few new things I ordered and such quick mailing, I was totally amazed.  Gathered a few items to finish up the ATC's  and my postcard is in the works.  Thanks Julia for checking on the envelope idea. I'll make it simple, not worth having mail rejected.

Some spare time so I went to a few thrift/antique stores close by having a reopening celebration.  I thought I purchased wallpaper but it is wrapping paper, but will be so fun to use.  Loved the variety of leaves.  Metal Letters,  L  for Hubby's birthday  and the A first initial of my grand kids last name. There was a C (3 of the grandkids 1st name)  also but didn't make the photo.

We had almost and inch of some much needed rain and oh did the grass turn green the corn is peeping through my hubs fields, and the garden is happy.  Sunshine will help my Hosta's and these Viola's are tough as nails.
Thanks for all your visits last week, I was able to visit most everyone, I feel things are getting back to normal !!!!  No more work on the bathroom for a while ....seems pandemic has a backlog of stocking potty's,  The lady had to go pick up the vanity but delayed as had a funeral, and  I can't find a painter !!!!   But I am dealing with the halls/doorways being passable, but sucking in and leaving a night light on so I don't stub my toes.

Thanks for stopping by.    Have a great week, enjoy some outdoor time, it's good for the soul.

Sounds like you've all sorts going on at home and hope it gets finished soon. I need to get my ATCs finished quickly! The paper you got looks pretty and I look forward to seeing how you use it. Happy creative woyww, Angela x19x

The photo is nice and big when you click on it - I can see all the details - great storage solutions! The wrapping paper will be great for journals - wall paper would have been too thick anyway and if you need it thicker, you can always stick it to some card. LOVE those distressed metal plaques! What a find! Yes, we badly needed the rain too. We didn't have much in the last 2-3 months - in fact, the whole winter was pretty dry. Lovely little flowers! Happy WOYWW! xx zsuzsa #20

You always have such lovely and interesting things on your desk, I just clicked on the picture to get a bigger view. the rolls of paper are lovely, I just love anything leafy and I'm sure you'll have great fun using it. The metal letters are fabulous.
Thank you for your visit to mine and yes please, I'd love to swap ATC's with you. We have swapped before and if you haven't moved in the last few years then I have your address that I found in an old email! I'll let you have mine if you need it.
Hope you have a good week,

Great to stop by for a quick visit. Very busy desk my friend! It's crazy how things are not able to be purchased because of the pandemic...my neighbor backed into her garage door in the Fall and they still haven't been able to replace it. She has to park her car outside and is very unhappy!

Hi Sylvia. A really busy desk there today - lots of goodies to peek at. I love what you thought was wallpaper - so did I. I do agree, though, you will find lots of things to do with it. Beautiful little violas. The gardens are all looking so lovely at the moment, aren't they.
Take care. God bless.

Hope you do manage to get the bathroom finished soon Sylvia. If you are using the new blogger and you highlight the photo you wish to enlarge and then the cog symbol you can change the size. I use extra large for the fist photo on my blog and large after that. Hope that helps. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

HI Sylvia! Sorry I missed you last week, and this week I'm a day late posting! What's to become of me? LOL! I love the Violas, we have fragile little violets popping up all over the grass! Hopefully your reno's will be done soon and you can get back to normal once again. Great finds in the thrift store, ours are all still closed, I am looking forward to when they open up again! Have a great week, Lindart #34

I just love those metal letters, Sylvia, and the paper looks very pretty (and useful) too. It sounds as if there's quite a lot going on with you at the moment. We've still got loads of wild violets in our bank but sadly the primroses are over now.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Very cool metal letters! We're struggling to find tradeys to do jobs for us too - it's hard enough normally and I thought everyone would be desperate for work but I think everyone is having the same thought of using their holiday money for renovations! Late to the party this week - stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #8

Still trying to catch up with my commenting! Yesterday was Mother's Day here in Australia so after a lovely lunch and lots of fizz I didn't get anything else done...
Hope the bathroom issues get sorted!
Good buys from the thrift store... we seem to be in that sort of shop daily!

Happy Woyww!
