WOYWW #631

Welcome,  It's almost bedtime here, but I've been up late and sleeping late into the morning. Totally unlike my normal life. No reason "WHY?" We are getting a really much needed rain right now.  Seems so peaceful. It's been below normal for moisture.
Good news from that is we have no mosquitoes.

My desk:   waiting for me to come back,  ambition, MoJo has left for vacation. Even my mind is another place.

Some little pockets/waiting for tags.
The old display recently filled with a collection of old playing cards.
And the 4th of July  corn to be knee high ~!!!!

Sharing with MS Julia's gang at our Wednesday's sharing of the desks. HERE
Thanks for stopping by and for all the great comments last week.

Glad to hear you are getting the rain you need without mosquitoes Sylvia. You have enough playing cards there to keep you going with ATC bases for ever lol. They do make an impressive display. Hope your mojo returns soon. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #6

thats quite a lot of playing cards! I went through a phase of collecting cards from places I'd visited, I am not sure what happened to most of them... Hope the rain continues to be peaceful . Your corn looks to be growing well! Happy WOYWW Helen #8

So happy for you that you are getting much needed rain Sylvia - and the cotton is so high. Reminds me of that song, from Oklahoma.
Don't worry about Mojo he has a habit of going off on vacation, he will be back soon no doubt.

Happy WOYWW. My crafty mojo has been forced to take a holiday whilst I get my craft room sorted out. I am looking forward to having a table to craft on again, and also knowing where my stash is. Ali x #12 ps I just love to look at your collection of inkpads!

Hello my friend! It is always so nice to see your desk and hear what you have going on in your world. We are terribly dry here but hoping for a drop or two of rain over the next few days. Your desk looks like it is patiently waiting for you...this is how I feel but I'm forced to soldier on for the design team projects. Sometimes I just sit and stare!

Your little envelopes are so pretty, what a lovely butterfly too - with such a lovely desk of delights I'm sure your mojo will return pretty soon. That's quite a collection of playing cards - while looking for some cheap vintage packs on Ebay for a craft project I was astounded at how valuable some of them are - it made me decide not to cut up some old family packs we had until I had investigated more!!
Hope you have a great week,

I’m glad you’re getting some rest, you have had a really busy time recently! Hooray for rain too, I bet the North West and Canada would give anything to have some of that at the moment. Pretty envelopes and you have quite the collection of cards there!!

Good to read you got rain. Much needed. I am in awe of all those playing cards. Love the photo of your husband (?) with the corn. Where is the elephant's eye? Happy WOYWW from #2.

Pleased you're getting some rain now, it was much needed I think. I have a few packs of playing cards and always meant to make them into ATCs but fell in love with the pictures on them and hadn't the heart to alter them so they are still complete. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x18x

Love your collection of playing cards! Hope your mojo comes back soon - I can't imagine anything more appealing than creating while it's raining outside! The corn looks ready to harvest soon! xx zsuzsa #22

An impressive collection of playing cards, Sylvia, and impressively tall corn too! I'm glad you had some much needed rain. We seem to have had rather too much of the stuff here in the UK lately and it's nice to see the sun when it deigns to come out.

I know all about Mojos going on holiday. My Mr. Mojo is having an ongoing illicit affair with a married lady called Mrs. Muse. They frequently go off for extended holidays together and I don't see them for weeks. For some reason Mr. Muse isn't in the picture, but I'd really appreciate a short visit from him on occasion in his wife's absence!

I had a busy morning shortening 3 hems on a bridesmaid’s dress and then steaming it And since lunch I’ve been for my annual diabetic eye test (although it’s 18 months since my last thanks to Covid!) so I’m just catching up with a few blogs before the football starts.
I hope your mojo returns soon so you can make the best of your creative time.

Thank you for your return visit, Sylvia, and I hope you enjoyed your couple of days away. Thank you so much for all your kind thoughts and prayers for me for tomorrow. I have every confidence in our local hospital which is wonderful - I've had such good care in the past. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing my newly tidied studio, all ready for me to start playing as soon as I am well enough! I can't wait.

Loving the playing cards - my Dad played Bridge and we always had lots of different cards around the house growing up. Sorry I'm so late this week - it's chaos here as usual! Happy belated WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#15)
