Welcome, I am back and a little nervous. Weather report is Not good for IOWA BIG storms forecast High's 70 degrees, completely never happened in December here, with wind gusts to 60 to 70 MPH 4pm thru Thursday with tornado warnings/thunderstorms. So we wait.
Showing My desk, as to day is the day we share our workspaces. You can partake by visiting HERE and linking up to Mr. Linky or just visit those who have.
I used a triangle set of dies to make the Christmas trees, have to glue and decorate yet
I was able to have Tuesday to sit and relax using a few new items. Had some Cherry Pie !
BUT I have this area to put away and refresh!! Only you know what real messes are sometimes.
I've very little shopping done, or no cards ready to mail out. It's the 1st time in years I've been so far behind with Christmas preps. While putting away fall and bring in totes for Christmas 2 weeks ago I injured my left shoulder and was unable to use my arm. I was worried it was Roto cuff, but for a week I used hot and cold packs, took advil and did a few slow exercises. It improved a lot. I still can't put my hand in back to put on a coat, but Spent 3 days putting up Christmas decor and putting away totes with mostly with one hand.
Wishing you all a great week, Ours will be busy we have 2 funerals and a birthday to celebrate.

oH Sylvia, take care! Too busy a time of year to be in pain and unable to use one arm!! Sending hugs. Happy WOYWW Helen #2
Praying everyone remains safe in the coming storms Sylvia. SOrry to hear that you have two funerals to attend this week as well. Good luck with the rest of Christmas prep. I am donating to charity this year instead of posting cards. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
Sorry to hear you have been injured. Been struggling with neck and shoulder but I think it is just old age! I find I just am not as frantic about Christmas any more. I've gifted what little bit I will be giving and have no one coming for the actual day so it's all good.
I’m not surprised you’re worried about the possible storms especially after the awful tornadoes last week, fingers crossed that you are bypassed. Bad luck about your shoulder, it sounds as if you’ve been doing the right thing though, hope it keeps improving over the next few days.

Goodness Sylvia, what a lot happening in your life at the moment - I'm sorry to hear you've injured yourself - I hope it continues to heal well and you are soon fully recovered. The weather report sounds dreadful, I hope you and your community all stay safe through it.
I love the little trees you've made - that is such a clever idea using the little one to make a tree trunk - very effective.
Stay safe,
Diana xx #12
Gosh sounds like you have a lot of 'not so nice' things happening. I hope the tornado does not come, the pictures we saw of the tornado in Kentucky were awful. Two funerals, that's sad, always seems harder so close to Christmas.
Nothing worse than an injured shoulder, not sure what mine is but it affects my left shoulder blade and I can't put my arms through coats either. Such a pain in more ways than one!
Hope you get chance to catch up on everything and enjoy Christmas. See you next week for a full report xx
Hugs, Neet 6 xx
ps love cherry pie
Oh dear - these things always happen near Christmas - I hope your arm is back to normal soon - it's miserable when you can't do all that you want to do. The weather sounds dreadful over in mid- USA - Stay safe. xx Jo
Oh dear. I hope the storm will not come your way, I can understand how you feel after seeing the Television reports. Saying a prayer you will be safe. Angela #11
It’s been such a busy day for me (it started at 8 am with my first of many customers). I’ve been head down sewing all day but have stopped to eat and blog now.
I really hope you manage to stay safe and your shoulder improves really quickly for you.
Hugs,

Hi Sylvia, don't ask where I've been but I've only just got round to opening the laptop. You take care and get that shoulder better. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x14x
Oh dear, Sylvia, things don't sound good for you. I hope by today the danger of tornado has blown away and you're shoulder is feeling better too. I think I'd have left the decorations for now. And the real mess can wait too. The tree dies are lovely, I particularly like the scalloped edges. Take it easy and have a good week. Elizabeth x #18
What a super use of triangle dies. Have a Happy Christmas, hugs BJ#13
