Welcome, a great day to enjoy the inside fun I guess. It's dark and looks like some rain, which we need...OKay now it's thunder and lightening. Starting off sharing my past week with our hostess, Julia and all her Mr. Linky friends HERE
I've been having some double daily fun, I signed up for a free class, it started Monday and will be 12 days of "FREE" Fodder School, with a different lesson and instructor each day. This is the link to sign up
https://www.willawanders.com/ and you can go back and start with lesson 1, 2 etc. Videos are available until 8/5/2023.
A supply list is provided so you can prepare ahead of time, and most days you have what you need right in that STASH. My 1st class "Watercolor Tropical Leaves"
12 Different Days of Learning for Mixed Media creating. USING UP STASH !!!!
But if you are not into watercolor you can use any way of coloring, I need a good White Pen as mine didn't give me what I needed. And I asked and so many volunteered ideas.
I've brought supplies upstairs and limiting my use of steps somewhat. A knee injury from jumping out of my sons jeep..I had ex-rays and no broken bones etc so avoiding MRI's , by having a brace, now using a elastic wrap and tape, massage etc and I am improving a lot Its just a slow process. Maybe a torn ligament/tendon..
Still partaking in the Daily July theme Jungle
Well a nice rainfall and now back to my daily routine. He brought in zucchini, so will make some pancakes adding blueberries. Made a very delicious Peach Pie yesterday, not a pie maker but I LOVE them .....also a few Kohlrabi were found, green beans, and radishes.
He enjoys growing garden veggies. Nary a weed !!!
Enjoy a great week, thanks for last weeks visits.

Hi there , I'll be round for pie !! Sorry you've been in the wars though. Take care . Helen #4
Oooh peach pie sounds delicious - any leftovers??! That’s a useful hubby who grows so many different veg, I’m not doing that much this year but have got potatoes, green beans, salad stuff and radishes, enough to keep me happy! Hope you enjoy the free classes, something to to enjoy while you’re resting your poorly knee, hope it gets better soon.

I'm grabbing a few minutes to whizz around my favourite blogs. It's been one of those mornings with a customer who keeps forgetting to come [4th time now!!].
So sorry to hear about your knee....hope it heals quickly for you.
Hugs,

Glad to be able to visit! So glad you are doing pies! I love pies but don't bake anymore. Sorry you are struggling with your knee. I've had a bad knee for a few years now. Some days it's better than others. Have a great rest of the week!
I saw the free Fodder school and thern forgot all about it, must pop over. Enjoy the rest of the lessons. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww. Hugs Angela x9x
I've watched the first Fodder School lesson, but I don't have watercolor paper, which makes it hard to use cardstock. You made some really cute flowers. I like how you fussy cut them, too. As for white pens, I broke down and bought a white Posca pen. It is better than my white gelli pen.
I LOVE your daily Jungle squares. They are stunning and I see you have a lot of great backgrounds, too. Love the map from Day 12.
Hope your knee improves very soon. Happy WOYWW from # 2.
I love your journey into the jungle - some lovely posts from there.
Your produce from the farm sounds lovely and really there is nothing nicer than fresh picked vweg. I don't suppose you grew the peaches too!
I hope that you get a lot from the 12 days of Free Fodder School - at least it should keep you from walking about too much. You must rest that leg.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx
Peach Pie sounds delicious. Sorry to hear about your knee. My husband did something similar and it was very painful. It took a while, but his knee is fine now. I haven’t started the free fodder school yet, I am hoping my white pens will be up to it. Happy WOYWW. Angela #11
OOh Sylvia you poor thing. Be extra patient, your knee needs ages to heal....sorry but it's true! Restrictive steps aren't restricting your output are they, peach pie, pancakes, and the Fodder, wow! Anything that uses stash is grand, and I love the leaves vey much, they wouldn't go far, I'd definitely use them on card fronts or scrapbook pages...they'd have to sit in a pot on my desk though, or they would become part of my unused stash too. Ugh, so disorganised!
Making quick catch up visits this morning after my long day at work yesterday. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3 PS The long thin tube is a tin of spray furniture polish.
Oooo the Fodder School looks fun I might sign up later. White pens are a pain but I have settled with Posca, best I have found so far. Super Jungle cards. Hugs BJ#13
You and I seem to be in the same boat, but for me it's my ankle. Don't forget RICE - rest-ice-compress-elevate! I've been doing that for a week and a half now and it has helped a lot. Speaking of rain and thunderstorms, we are under a severe thunderstorm warning and a tornado watch at the moment. The thunderstorm I can handle, but no tornados please! Your jungle cards are lovely, all my favourite jungle animals! Have a great week, Lindart #17
I forgot to mention welcome to the fodder Challenge! I am doing it as well and posting on my Instagram page - #lindart61. Great Day 1! Lindart #17
Or is it @lindart61? I get confused with # and @ Lindart
Guess what? I've started the Fodder Challenge too, done day #1 and going to start day 2 when I've finished my WOYWW replies.... Hugs BJ#13
Just to say I have been knee deep in Fodder all week thanks to you telling us all about it last week. Was hoping you'd be along to this week's WOYWW with more, but not as yet.....Fingers crossed. Hugs BJ#16 (for week 19th July 2023!)
