WOYWW 757

Good Morning,  or Good Afternoon  it's 3:40 am here and I've been missing you.
The day we share our desks  Ms.Julia's blog is how you link up to join or visit others desk.  Haven't been up to posting,  And now it's a busy time of the year.
November had lots of issues.

MY Desks/ are a BIG MESS  as is the whole downstairs, I've got 2 small trees that stay decorated so all I do is bring them up sit them in a favorite place and make sure the lights are working.  I can't carry up the big totes,  so little by little this week maybe a few of my favorites and only ONE Nativity.  My spirit's broken !!!!  We are home alone most Holidays  Hoping to send out Christmas cards to the many friends who have lost a loved one the past few months.

a Couple of my daily 3x3 cards for December's  Collage Art Collective...
Can see daily ones on my Facebook or Instagram
And a 5x7 Christmas Collage.  Trying to Master bigger collages

I'll be around not sure what time   He is still in the process of yes or no  on going to Wisconsin  (5hr drive ) for a very dear friend's funeral Thursday, would be a night away , but the weather is suppose to be great 50's and no snow ..... I'd go alone if it wasn't for my driving knee and the overnight stay.

Wishing you all the best forpreparing for  the upcoming Holiday,

Sylvia.....I was unable to move the signature at the very top.

Your Christmas collages are lovely Sylvia and I have enjoyed seeing them on Facebook. We do seem to lose folks in these cold winter months. I hope you manage to get to the funeral. Sad time for all . Hugs Jo

I always to see your collages. You have such a talent for them. My Christmas cards are going out today and I'm hoping they arrive on time. The postal service is so overwhelmed here. If you travel, please be safe...thinking of you!

Please don't let your spirit be broken...you have a lot of nativity scenes and do a lot of decorating, and it always looks beautiful, but if you aren't able to get some enjoyment from it, it's OK not to do it, or much less of it all! It has been a tough year for you, and as I type I'm waiting for my Mr to come home, we too are setting off for a funeral in Yorkshire which is involving 3 nights away ecause the funeral is tomorrow but the burial on Saturday. It's about 220miles but will take 6 hours because of small roads and big traffics!
I love seeing your challenge pieces on FB, it's funny that you're saying you need to get used to bigger pieces, I find all collage a challenge really, but the little pieces you work on especially so! You have a skill that I don't...knowing when to stop!!

We have a tree that stays decorated too! It is our "media" tree, the ornaments are all from movies or TV shows! The big tree I have to decorate every year, and this year I gave myself permission not to put ALL the ornaments on! This time of year can be very sad for some, I hope you were able to make it to the funeral. Your 3x3's are lovely, I like the embossed backgrounds! Lindart #19
