Welcome It's the Day we share our favorite works....from our desks, tables, lap!
Anyone can join up thru Ms. Julia's blog HERE
Spent some time organizing My dies
I've saved a few toiletpaper rolls and clipped them together to flatten edges.
I want to make a little cardboard journal and thought this size would be good. Hope I can share a finished one next week !! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I also organized my cardboard.....lots of different sizes and tired of having piles of everything on my floor. This wooden organizer has been in the store room forever.
I have to spend sometime making my 2 Germany granddaughters birthday cards. AND I need to start making a few weeks ahead ....... I hate deadlines.

The one thing I don't enjoy is making flat ATC's/Cards etc but Mail is so messed up layers don't work so well anymore from our USPS.
You all have a wonderful week, Hope you have some nice weather and sunshine.

Great organisation going on! the cardboard looks very neat now. Hope you get the cards made in time to post to Germany. I'm not good with deadlines either!

Great organising - Look at all those dies and then all the cardboard!
I like the idea of the toilet roll tubes - may have to borrow that idea!

I look forward to seeing the toilet roll journal. I used to make lots of them but haven't done for ages. Good luck at getting the cards done in time which reminds me I have one to send to France amd better geton with it. Have a good woyww. Hugs Angela x7x
Trying to get back into a routine. Thanks for all the love and support. Great desk today. Sarah #11
The price of Royal Mail is killing our sending cards other than plain ones. Such a shame as we get so much pleasure in making them. The cost of sending abroad is even worse. I guess technology has a lot to answer for.
I remember making a book out of toilet roll inners, I flattened mine in my flower press. You could do it between heavy books.
Have a good week despite the weather

Good morning my friend! As always it is so good to see your busy desk. Can't wait to see what you create with this! My sister purchased me a new Cricut machine and I'm slowly trying to learn how to use it!
you look like you had a good time organising your craft supplies this week. I look forward to seeing your cardboard journal and the cards.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Your die organisation is brilliant. What a smart idea. I have seen people use lots of diff items for flattening paper and I am on the look out for a flat iron or round weight. At the moment I use my cast iron book stand. I wonder how much a book press would cost? Happy WOYWW. Angela #10
Just pop over and organize my sewing room please! You've done well there. Will love to see your loo roll project. 😀 Jo
Hi, Sylvia!
TP rolls make the best journals! I always keep a supply on hand to create tag journals!. I like your organizer. I just received a paint and brush organizer for review but I have not had time to put it together. I love that yours has drawers.
No, my son was not impacted by the bridge collapse. He lives in Montgomery County and he also works remotely.
I understand about the mail! I won't get political, but I haven't tried to mail anything since Barack Obama left office. Until we get a new Postmaster General, the mail will continue to be a mess! I wish Jeff Bezos could buy the postal service!
Good luck with your organizing. You seem to be making great progress! Have a fabulous week!

Hi Sylvia, another use for toilet roll inners - I'm impressed at the ingenuity of it. My daughter has just planted up sweet pea seeds in them - seems sweet peas like a long root depth. Love your cardboard organiser. You'll have no problem finding what you need now. I'm trying to say nothing about our postal system. Suffice to say that Royal Mail has upset me yet again with their latest announcements! No chance of too much sun here in Scotland, but hope you do rather better where you are. Elizabeth x #16
Oh I know about the Mail, it's so difficult to get anything vaguely irregular through now, it's quite restrictive isn't it. The 'new' cardboard organiser is just right isn't it, glad you could squash that in somewhere on a surface. I'm admiring of the dies too, having them on hand (and to see) like that makes them very useable doesnt it. I'm threatening to redecorate my room so am thinking of all sorts of ideas at the mo, mainly streamlining ! Good luck with the loo roll inners, I had a go at a little book some years ago but it got the better of me, too fiddly!
I thought about hanging up some of my dies, but I just don't have the wall space, so they are all, very slowly getting sorted out (with their stamps if they have any) and put in little packets with magnets on one side and a white card on the other so the stamps show up better. Hope you had a Great Easter and a very happy late WOYWW!? Sorry I'm soooo late! (Lyn))#15
