WOYWW 779

Welcome, just a quick post.  We have been having 2 weeks of wicked storms. It's the day we share our workspace HERE....
My hubby will be replanting both beans and corn as ponds of water have destroyed the little plants that just popped thru the ground. And I don't think insurance covers water damages.  So a little spendy year for crops. I cannot complain, several states West have lost complete towns by tornadoes. Iowa has had 2 with bad destruction. and several with minor damages.
The weeks go so fast, we will have a few high school graduation parties this weekend. My grand daughter is home form Arizona State College for the summer and hope to get to see her end of the month She and hubby have birthdays back to back, supposable a 60th class reunion being held the same time.
Not much in the line of fun at my desk.....working on ATC's and having fun with a few new ideas. Will share those soon. My desk a real mess.
I have 2  One Inch Zines ready to collage on for the May "Miini Collage group.
I did this one and not thinking used stickers ???brain is not working,  When folded/ the right bottom corner  TOGETHER will be the cover
Was good practice  Have a great week...hope you are enjoying Sunshine and Flowers.  Thanks for stopping by.

Sounds as if your weather has not been nice for you and the crops have suffered as a result of the rain. I thought we had too much rain in the north of England but yours sounds just as bad if not worse. Poor hubby.
Hope you both get to enjoy all the celebrations that seem to be lining up for you.
Hugs, Neet 8 xx - take care

Hi Sylvia, I hope the weather settles now. Unusually we still have standing water here and I live in one of the dryer parts of the UK. We have been warned that it will effect vegetable production as farmers have been late planting so we'll see. I bet you're looking forward to the celebrations so at least something nice to look forward to. Take care and sending woyww hugs, Angela x12x

Sorry to hear about weather issues with your crops. Over here some farmers haven’t been able to plant crops because of flooded fields. The weather is worry for sure. Why are stickers not good? I find inchies are too small, but twinchies are just right. I find some of the prompts a bit strange. I have just done shell and bud, they were easy to interpret. Happy WOYWW. Angela #13

Hi Sylvia, thank you for your earlier visit. The weather sounds like it has been dreadful - how upsetting that your first crops will need to be re-planted. Was trying to figure your folds out - I'm guessing it's a little one sheet book, I've made them with my craft class before now. Have a great week, love n hugs Cindyxx #11

Shocking weather for you all and a real pain to have to replant a crop our weather is at last more like a normal Spring and it's lovely to see sunshine and flowers. Looking forward to the crop now. Will take pictures for all the folk who can't make it. x x Jo

What a pain about the crops but as you say, not as bad as some. We lost 15 sugar sweet pumpkins, full grown, to our floods last year but that was because it was potentially sewage & were advised not to eat them. Absolutely gutting after nurturing them for so long. Not sure why the stickers are no good unless it's upside down? Hope you get to enjoy some sunshine soon, Lisa-Jane #10 www.prettymypage.co.uk

Sorry to hear the weather has been rough on your crops. Couldn’t quite see the problem with your stickers but I hope you sort it out.
Take care and happy WOYWW

I almost forgot to check here for your post! We have had major storms rolling trough. At my house just some thunder and lots of rain but just up the road there was a tornado touched down where my Grandson works. It ripped a huge sliding door off the building! Lots of uprooted trees but I don't think there were any injuries thankfully! More to come here tonight as there is a second round coming later! Your house sounds like mine ... I haven't done anything crafty for over a week. Planted lots of flowers and a few tomato plants and cucumbers in my flower beds. Mini farming...LOL. Take care my friend!

Oh my life, 3rd freebie course started today, as if I wasn’t having enough trouble, at least it has got cooler and I can think again, been really struggling this past week even had to leave church early as I couldn’t cope… Love your little zine, there was talk of zines on my course today and we'll be doing one on Saturday at the live zoom meeting/seminar methinks, but a one inch on is dead cute, Hugs BJ#5
