OH Yawn....it's late, Will schedule this and be back in Morning. Busy times here, Our Iowa State Women's Basketball played it final Championship game tonight. They lost to Texas. Had a tremendous season with mostly Freshman players.  Now on to NCAA Tournaments. Audi is a girl from our Catholic School who has set Freshman records and is one great player so lots of interest in her success.   Partaking in Stamping Ground Blog

My DESK:  I got the paint tray set up vertically and I am going to enjoy that. Some odd painting on thin cardboard and grocery bags.  Finalized my sisters 70th Birthday Journal and trying to  figure out a way to share the Video. It on my phone.Says it's too big of file to send by email to my home computer/  Any ideas  from my phone  to here?

This is the front of the pocket  used ISU as the Iowa State University he attends  There are 3 pockets in this fold  that is shown by the 2 vertical tiny strips and 1 horizontal toward the bottom. I will take them out when I insert the credit card and money. 

He is home on Spring Break so hopefully we can go visit one of these WARM/SUNNY Days.

 HOWDY     I am late, overslept and realized it is  Wednesday   It's a fun day at STAMPING GROUND

My desk 

Textured some papers and left to dry. Continued on to clear the floor and some drawers and this crafty space as about done reorganizing.

I've had this paint tray a LONG time  usually on the floor as it is quite large laying flat..new IDEA?

make it vertical and sort the good from the bad and put it on top of this desk.  IDEA?

After loading it all and trying to put it up there it messed with my SCIATAIC nerve  So now on heat and ice and a muscle relaxer. 

Next week I'll have a lot to share  3 Birthday creations...the desk with this paint tray and hopefully more painted papers.  

So like Spring here  some rain predicted which we need badly. Temps 60's /70's  UNHEARD OF.

And Robins are back. not my favorite bird but they usually are the sign of Spring.

Another Tuesday night post, for our fun group @ Stamping Ground Blogspot  Thanks to all for visiting and commenting.  Had a pretty great week, lots to do house wise. Putting away Christmas/Valentines and sorting the Easter, limiting my decor and donating some.

I made a video of a small fabric/paper journal 1 1/2 wide 2 1/2 long. Trying to down load it here...... on FB in JJJ chat group   or  Instagram  sylviahildman  top row.

But hoping this is it..... not sure if it will work......................................

It's no doubt  Good Morning to most of you, here past my bedtime, but lots to do the next few days.  Thanks to Julia at the Stamping Ground Blog  we can all enjoy each others activities by sharing our desks.  

My special neighbor brought me some bib overhall scraps and I was so excited as they are hard to find.  I will give here the Valentine later with a piece of Pumpkin Pie.

A few other sizes to play with later. 

MY DESK:    a tiny journal in front   will do a video hopefully by next week Ideas for the string and will share some nest post some not yet received Valentines I sent 

Had a busy 2 wks   Hubby had surgery on arm for a Cancer lump...stitches out this past Tuesday..All shows was successful.  Quite common in Farmers too much sun/chemicals

Then Wednesday early Morning I took him to ER....he thought it was appendix..after tests it was a kidney stone.  Lots of pain until Tuesday it passed and he just seems tired.

I missed 766 as we had 2 more funerals.  

  My 3 grand girls each made a  1st Place in their European 

Forces Kingfish swim team  held in the Netherlands this past Friday/Saturday/Sunday.  Wanted to share a photo, but  not available....

Welcome,  a little late but our time is  7 A.M.  And I forgot yesterday that today is the day we visit desks and greet our  all over the World friends !   HERE at STAMPING GROUND

Missed last week, we had 2 local funerals, one was  my husband's life long neighbor/friend all these years and another one tomorrow traveling to his cousin's.  They all have lived a great life into 80's and 90's  So Blessed. 

Still working on getting  the storage room in order, got all of Christmas put away, added Valentines to 2 small trees and decorated one  window 

I've collected hearts a long time, the very top are all colored glass and quite pretty with the blinds open and sun reflection  and are up there all the time. The longer hanging ones are ones I added for February. 

Some papers I marked with black paint/markers to use in a journal I plan on putting together. Will add other colors as I decide. 

MY DESK;

Enjoying the clean organized area I have once again.  A tiny journal I'll share inside hopefully next week. Some fabric bits and tiny pages.   Some black stitching on brown paper,  I spent a day getting my bobin/thread and sewing machine back in working order. !!!!!  Whahoo.........................partaking in UK's    Artist Trading Coins and Cards UK doing ATC's and ATC COINS. Not many partake but I love making a few a week. THE Collage Are Collective, that I did the 3x3's daily closed down.  And I am missing the great group that was so supportive and creative.  A new group was offered but I don't pay to belong to my crafty fun.

Well hopefully I can make visits today and maybe again later on Friday.  Thanks for all who made comments last posting .  Here temps are to be in the 50's with SUNSHINE,   totally  an unusual winter.  Not much SUNSHINE, Lots of FOG,

Welcome, some wild winter going on across the USA....IOWA today we had SUNSHINE, No Wind, but  Minus  -25 wind chill...COLD.. Here on the farm for the past 4 days We have very little snow. The strong winds 40/50 blew away the snow, our road was good, the blacktop big drifts on one side, and the main hiway had been pretty much snow blowed out.  Lots of accidents, We just stayed hunkered down home.  One main Interstae from Southern Iowa where my son lives, Avenue of the Saints was still  shut down going North . 

I have really had about 4 hrs a day to redo my Crafty Space and I so much enjoyed it. Found things I've totally forgotten about, and even my floor space is free.  I have a bit to do in the north end of this area but it's all fabric/Christmas to put away.  

It's the day we share our desks and HERE at Stamping Ground is reason why. 

Haven't been working on a project I can share as yet.  We haven't yet been able to gather with his family due to weather.  Hopefully soon.   This photo below came up ????it's one above and I cannot delete it If anyone knows why blogger changed  prompts let me know.  I spent 3 hrs trying to get my email and back up to work.  Shut all down came back 2 hrs later and WHALA...seems to be ok.  ???

Happy Day to All,  It's 5 am here and about my normal time to rise and shine.

I missed last week, totally confused as to what day it was, and we both were struggling with sinus/aches/pains/no appetite.  But back to normal and have some energy. Drinking Gatorade !  Kind of dehydrated I think.  It's the season, but I think all the germs will be settled, as we now have SNOW and COLD temps.  

Weather in USA is tragic from coast to coast..Here in Iowa about 4 counties are missing the heavy 11 in snow fall and we are one of them. about 5 inches. Now Winds 30/50 predicted. more snow and very low temps 10 to subzero thru the weekend.  Will be ok, if we keep electricity.  

We had a wonderful time visiting my son and family, Dec 31/Jan 1....with some great weather for travel time,  Got new photos.  Cael junior at ISU, Cami freshman AZ State, Cash sophmore high school. 

I have been putting away Christmas. General within rooms, and the crafty space.

Now working on Valentine's ...I'll share a few after we meet with his siblings in a week or so. The snow put a damper on our get together.  

Little Bailey sleeps a lot during the day !  ...going on 15 and so well cared for !!!  

Well here's the reason for the post.  Ms Julia at Stamping Ground gathers us up thru Mr. Linky and we share our desks, our highs and lows.  It's a great group and I am thankful. 

I am working on 2 smaller tables as it's quite cool downstairs.  I can create quite the mess. My mind has so many ideas I can't keep up...It must be an age thing.

Welcome, it's the day we share our desks....Here Ms Julia keeps us all together.

We have had some unusual weather here....no Snow and nights 20's  days 40's. They are talking possible 50's over Christmas !  

My workspaces are atrocious...................This is a wheel around book rack, No books just most all my Christmas papers, etc is stored here and wheeled out of storage area when the season arrives. 

My main desk pretty well done creating here.  I've finished my 3x3's up through 28th

I wrapped most of the gifts and mailed almost all of my (short list this year) cards. It's the 1st year in most of my adult life I have not created a Christmas letter. Just a short note  on the card. 

This is a small patio table, glass top which has never been outside since I moved to the farm 20 years ago.  TOO MUCH WIND/DIRT to keep it safe.  Have used it for special projects and this month that was doing Christmas cards. Not many homemade ones, just the store box cards.

Here are Four cards I haven't shared to our group yet  But they are  Dec 23 to the top left, the journey to Bethlehem, and right the24th  night before Santa comes, bottom left 24th arriving at the stable. AND the 25th  The birth of baby Jesus.

Good Morning,  or Good Afternoon  it's 3:40 am here and I've been missing you.

The day we share our desks  Ms.Julia's blog is how you link up to join or visit others desk.  Haven't been up to posting,  And now it's a busy time of the year.  

November had lots of issues.

MY Desks/ are a BIG MESS  as is the whole downstairs, I've got 2 small trees that stay decorated so all I do is bring them up sit them in a favorite place and make sure the lights are working.  I can't carry up the big totes,  so little by little this week maybe a few of my favorites and only ONE Nativity.  My spirit's broken !!!!  We are home alone most Holidays  Hoping to send out Christmas cards to the many friends who have lost a loved one the past few months.

I'll be around not sure what time   He is still in the process of yes or no  on going to Wisconsin  (5hr drive ) for a very dear friend's funeral Thursday, would be a night away , but the weather is suppose to be great 50's and no snow ..... I'd go alone if it wasn't for my driving knee and the overnight stay.

Good morning, thought I had another day !  It's freezing cold here, but weekend snow has melted.

Could not sleep so started my November Nature  daily 3x3's 

And my desk, I had it cleared before I started and now kayos, 

My hubby finished up his anhydrous spraying of fields and is officially DONE with field work and one tractor now in storage !

He is going to put clear film on 2 big windows to keep cold air at bay. Winds have been terrible. I plan on putting up heavier curtains so best do that this week. Warmer weather next week !!
