Welcome, it's been a while since I've had time or around to share any ideas or partake in my weekly fun.
I mentioned some time ago I was making a Zine for a swap and wanted to wait until all had submitted theirs before I posted mine. . They will be mailed out in a day or so by the gal who organized this swap. I can hardly wait for them to arrive. For the swap we kept the original and made our copies to mail in for our swap partners. So there were no raised embellishments etc on those.
I chose to use a "Wing" theme. And this is the front cover. Page 1 These photos do not really show the tea dyed paper very well. The original is much darker.

So then, what is a zine?
A zine (pronounced zeen) is an independently or self-published booklet, often created by physically cutting and gluing text and images together onto a master flat for photocopying but it is also common to produce the master by typing and formatting pages on a computer.The publication is usually folded

HERE I made this instead of a card for my grandson's 16th birthday.
He likes unusual techniques in many things. So thought it was a good project to show him.
