Hop on over to the Stamping Ground and see what all we do to satisfy our Peeping woes.
She always has something fun, and I have met many new people from all over the world and have enjoyed their inspiration and unique ways.
Suspense from last week is over...here are my new finds delivered and assembled!!
Fortunately this is a 2 piece unit, it is very heavy and when I saw it knew it would be ideal for all my sewing fabric. My dear husband, picked it up and I had my nephew come to help carry it to our lower level. The little wooden unit to the left holds most of my thread, and sewing accessories. Easy Peasy!!!
Then a friend called me, they were redoing a quaint little shop and getting rid of this. She called if I'd be interested in this card stand. It is perfect for my Sizzix dies and some rubber stamps. Last week I had just put them on top of my cutting table in groups of 3, so now they each have a spot and I have filled the other display unit with my clear rubber stamps. Which has given me more drawer storage.
I am a visual person, and if it is out I'll use it, I hate looking thru things and I forget what I really have if it is stashed away. My desk...well it has been history for a week or so..piled high with things that need attention. But never enough time in the day to get everything neat and tidy.
I did make up inventory sheets on all of this as I was organizing it, so that is up to date now too.
I am still cleaning the storage area, I eliminated 5 rubber maids full of fabric with this storage find. And I have sorted many more in hopes of having a garage sale or donating these things I truly don't have room for anymore.
Well enough of my rambling..I need to hop about and see what the world of crafters is doing.
Enjoy the fun and Have a wonderful week. Thanks for stopping by.

I love all your finds. That cabinet is awesome! I don't have room for any more stuff in my room. It's do or die now for me!
Hi Sylvia,
Thank you for the lovely comments you left on my blog regarding the WOYWW !
I WAS supposed to be clearing up my craft desk but I've spent all morning looking at all the lovely blogs. Lots and lots of lovely things to look at and loads of inspiration to be had! :)
The metal boxes are great aren't they? One of them is actually shaped like a suitcas with a handle and catch and has given me a fantastic ide for a christmas gift for my mum! The other just have lids, but I'm sure I will find something to do with them! They contain Chipboard shapes, and chipboard tag albums.
I am still fairly new to this style of crafting (the altered/ distressed style) but I really do enjoy it so much! I find it so much free-er and so much more forgiving. It doesn't have to cost a fortune either, charity/thrift shops are a wonderful source for things to alter and embellishments as well.
Once again thank you for your lovley comments and i look forward to showing a much tidier workdesk in future!
Take care
Jackie x
p.s. I ADORE that cabinet! I only wish I had a house big enough to 'store' one of those!! It's a real showpiece!
Absolutely love the white cabinets ideal for your room. Also love your card racks wow youve got some real bargains this week to show off ...love em all!

What a lovely way to display all your stamps and dies Sylvia.
I agree that you’re more likely to use things if they are in eyesight but I only wish I had the room to do it. I’m not grumbling though, I’m happy that I have a dedicated room that I can work in and am able to come away, leave everything where it is and close the door…….some people are not that fortunate.
Loving the new White unit too, it looks wonderful will all your pretty fabrics on show.
Happy Crafting

I am seriously envious of your new fabric storage dresser!! I want one too! I know exactly what you mean about using the stuff that's out - all my fabric is in clear plastic boxes and even then I forget half of what I've got!
Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog. Some birds do migrate down to Africa, like swallows, swifts and cuckoos, but an awful lot stay behind and stick out the cold weather. It never fails to amaze me how such tiny animals can withstand the cold temperatures. We got down to -12 degrees c last Dec! The farmers are busy ploughing, harrowing and drilling new seeds here and already new winter wheat is growing through. I'll try and take a pic for you this week!
Hugs, LLJ xx
Oh what a fab storage cupboard - and all that fabric too! Thanks for the birthday wishes -just taking a break to check out my WOYWW blog buddies. x Jo
Hi Sylvia, what gorgeous display stands and that fabby cabby for your fabbies!!! I'm really envious. I think I need to be far more organised than I am - I've got the space but it's not organised properly yet and things haven't really got proper homes. One day...
Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog. Glad you liked my Clementine Art! As for the mould making, I was the same with my Friendly Plastic - it was ages before I started, and I still haven't started on the strips, only the pellets. It's just getting round to it when there are demands on your time for other projects and things to do. You'll get there!
Happy WOYWW.
Lovely cupboard storage for fabric - fortunately I am still at the buy it and use it stage (unlike my paper crafting - lets not go there). Not sure how much longer that will last though.......
Your fabric dresser is fabulous and so is your display for your dies! Great storage ideas - just wish I had the space for something similar!
My word that spinner was a good find. The cupboard is just lovely. What an accomodating DH and nephew you have! 5 rubber maids - you had some stash!!
Oh forgot to say - I have comment moderation on after 24 hours on any given post - so if you comment after that, they go into my 'dashboard' for me to publish individually. Your comments were all safe and sound, thank you! I do this because other wise if anyone leaves a comment on an older post, I might miss it, and I'd hate that!
Wow Sylvia, that's not a craft room it's a shop!! Be grateful I don't live anywhere near you, I'd be "shopping" at your place all the time!
Hugs
