WOYWW #235

It's  What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday on Julia's blog  the  STAMPING GROUND, lots of fun desks posted, and a lot of info on lots of things, from lots of crafty people, from lots of places!  just hop on over as she has all the details.

My desk:
a few cards in the making, the lower  aqua and white will be my sons birthday card,  I made the paper,  sprayed with aqua glitter, added the fuzzy white layer, and a die cut snowflake. AND I forgot to take a picture of it finished..had to get it in the mail.  The little stuffed ornament was made from a swether and purchased at a little Xmas fair.

I am wondering if any of you have ever seen a plastic tree form like this,  I have google searched, shopped and to no avail. It was a Pinterest post and was stated the it came from Wal-Mart...but not finding it.

I also have been doing some crochet work, I posted some pretty yarns I purchased a while back and I have completed a few projects:

Red/Gold, Iowa State University Cyclones,  Black/Gold, University of Iowa Hawkeyes, and some pretty off white with sparkles.

Thanks for all the visits last week, I hope to do better at visiting this week. We had company for our Thanksgiving Holiday til  Sunday. So enjoyed some quality time with grand children, my son and his wife.
Took in the movie "Epic" with them, had lots of good stories to catch up on and caught up on many DVD's

Have a lovely week.

I always love to see what's on your work desk Sylvia.
Gorgeous cards - your son will be thrilled with his special card.
I'm drooling over your snowflakes - I've been looking for them everywhere here - nothing. I see them everywhere on overseas blogs.
Good luck with finding your tree form - it is lovely - I would make it into Nordin/French style - what will you do Sylvia.

I'm hopping over to Julia's to have a look.
Hugs
Shane

The cards you're working on are lovely. The angel stamp in the upper left is very pretty -- I've never seen one quite like that. Glad you had some fun family time for the holiday. Happy WOYWW. ~ Laura #84

Such a beautiful desk full of creative gems everywhere..lots to enjoy! I like in the backdrop all of those tall sticks..are they holding spools of thread? looks fantastic and fun! Wonderful..your cards are looking stunning and such elegant styles and lovely colors!

The tree form might be found in unlikely places like a hardware store, garden center or fabric store..I would even ask a local gift shop or party store in your area (who may have those as display-decorations) in their shops! sometime you can get them to sell them to you! Best of luck!

Hi Sylvia,
Lots going on. I am so glad that I am not the ONLY one that forgets to take photos of my finished projects. I haven't seen a plastic tree like that but haven't really looked. I'll start looking now though. I've seen the styrofoam ones at Hobby Lobby, if that helps.

Thank you so much for visiting me already. I knew it would be late in the week before I could do most of my visiting.

Happy belated WOYWW

busy looking desk! I think I saw a cone tree form similar to that at Micheals the other night. I am doing better but had a few problems the past couple of months. I am going to do a post tonight and hope everyone forgives me for my lapse! Have a great week. Vickie
