WOYWW #429

Good Morning,   it's Wednesday time to share our work spaces, our hostess Julia at the STAMPING GROUND has the info to play along and the places to visit.

I missed last weeks play along as my hubby and I were gone everyday, visiting little Iowa towns, with their summer fun days. Great weather, good food and lots of fun. Then we Celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary Sunday with the day spent at the Lake with some fun times.

Since the photo I did try out my stamping platform and I love it.  I've some bigger stamps and didn't have the right size stamp blocks, so this will save $ and space.  Also 2 new dies that will be fun with fall coming, the leaves and a mini album die   Fall is my favorite time of the year, but I truly don't know where summer went.
One evening we attended a church auction and I found this mini kneeler, long shelf I purchased and It has given me more space but raising up the 2 shelf cubbies that hold m distress inks and my colored pencils, brushes etc in the cans. The photos of the stamps are from using the platform.  I also picked this steam lid up with the idea of using it as a stencil (Circles) and the little white dohickey..for arch shaped form.  Haven't had time to try it.
Here in America we had the eclipse yesterday, was disappointing as we had a storm and not much was visible for us.  Glad for the great news coverage of something fun for a change.

Have a wonderful week, thanks for visiting and your time in commenting.  I can't believe it but we have NOTHING on the calendar for this week. OH the things I can do here at home !!!!!

It is really good to see you this morning. I always love seeing what you have going on. I'm still on the fence about the stamp platform but am really leaning toward that purchase.

Hi Sylvia. That shelf/kneeler has really helped with your work space - well spotted! Glad you like the stamp platform. I have looked - but can't afford at the moment... The eclipse did look fantastic from the photos on the BBC news website. I'm sorry you missed it though. Have a fantastic crafty week - all that time at home! Congrats on your wedding anniversary.
Take care. God bless.

I love my stamping platform too. It's amazing how raising up those ink pad storage cubbies has given you so much space; that was a great find. Sorry you didn't get to see much of the eclipse. Happy WOYWW Sarah #18

what a shame you couldn't enjoy the eclipse! I remember when we had the total eclipse visible in the UK lots of years ago, it was a dull dreary day and we saw nothing either! bit of a wait to the next one..... Helen #4

Oh joy, an empty week! You'll have a wonderful time just pottering about, I envy you! I'm glad you've had a good few weeks though. I love fall too, my favourite season of all.

Hi Sylvia. I love your desk space! You do have a lot of inks, no wonder you need more storage space. I've resisted buying the stamping platform yet, but who knows what Santa will put under the tree for me! Have a lovely week, Heather #6

Hi Sylvia, stamping platforms are brilliant. No more bad language here since I got mine as large stamps work so much better on them. Have a great woyww, Angela x12x

I've had my stamping tool for a while now and wonder how I stamped without it! Love your shelf. It really adds some nice extra storage space. Belated happy anniversary. Have a great rest of the week.

Hi Sylvia - thanks for your lovely comment - it has been a weird old summer hasn't it? And yes, the news doesn't help. Sounds as though you have been getting out and about for some fun trips, and I hope you're managing to find some Fall Mojo in your quiet week this week.
