Welcome to another Wednesday post. Sharing our work space via the STAMPING GROUND. Ms Julia has all the info on her blog about playing along or visiting all around the globe.
Here is the card I finished up last week for my niece's 40th. We had a family/friend gathering at a hotel about 130 miles from here. Was so fun. My son and his family could attend so it made it extra special on a Holiday weekend.
What a busy week it's been. Started to put up some Christmas. We have had unusual warm temps here
50's and hardly no winds, So I washed windows so when the temps drop I will have this job done.
Then I decided I'd go down the road a bit, field work is done, so I've had my eye on theses Milkweed Pods. Plus I've a HUGE plastic bag full of them. I think I'll paint them silver/gold and make a few ornaments. They work well in dried arrangements and wreaths. Plus I would bet Pinterest has ideas!
Have a few of last weeks tags to finish up and then off to the market. Remember to click on the photo to enlarge. It was dark when I took these and my batteries were about finished. After I looked at these...I need to go back and add the greenery towards the top.. Will retake a photo once I finish that project. Whew...glad I noticed
One of the little collections I've set up. Hope to get at least 2 of my Nativity's set up by tomorrow.
I start early, as I do every room. It use to be wall pictures came down, curtains etc. No more I've cut back a lot. But I like to enjoy the festivities.
Thanks to all who visited, and also left comments. It's been a much calmer week. And Mr. Sunshine has made such a difference. Have a blessed week.

Looks like you're definitely in the midst of Christmas prep. Haven't really started here yet. We've had warm temps, too, so got some more outside work done. Hubby did get the Christmas lights on the house, so I guess that's a start. Your card is beautiful, by the way.
Christmas has started early over at yours. My daughters like to start early too but it will take me a little longer yet.
Hugs,

Hi Sylvia, I must admit I haven't started thinking much about Christmas yet. Maybe when December arrives I'll finally get started. Happy WOYWW Sarah #9
Those milkweed pods are going to look amazing sprayed gold and silver - I remember my mum used to do that with dried poppy and teasel heads too. You've had a lovely couple of weeks with the partying and Christmas decorating! Good, I'm glad, you seem to have had a tough old time recently. I look forward to seeing more festive stuff next week!
Hugs LLJ 13 xxxx
I see you've been making "big number" birthday cards too! Those seed pods will be lovely. Thanks for stopping by today.

For the first time in over 50 years I did not put up a tree. I just didn't have it in me when no one comes here. I have company for about 2 hours and that is it so I just decided it was way too much work. I love your card I know it will be cherished! Hope the rest of your week is good!
What a beautiful card Sylivia! I love the purple tones and all of those glittery bits!! The Christmas tags really caught my eye. All of those amazing vintage style images combined with the shimmery snowflakes, how festive and fun! I do hope you will post pictures of the finished ornaments once you paint those milk pods, this I have just got to see!! sending hugs :)

Hi Sylvia. You're verg organised for Christmas. I've made a few cards but not made much progress yet. This weekend maybe, or next.... hmm procrastination at its best! Have a lifelyvweek, Heather #30
I think those milkweed pods will make awesome decorations! You will have to share the finished project! I like setting up things a little at a time too, then I can enjoy each thing or collection. Today (Dec 1) I will get out our Christmas mugs, and get the advent calendar going. Thanks for sharing, Lindart #27
Beautiful card for your niece & such lovely decorations! Bet you'll have fun using those pods--silver & gold would be gorgeous! I finally did the dusting & all but the tree is up!
I love the pods you are painting! How creative you are! I just didn't have it in me this year to put up a tree. I did decorate my mantle and hung a wreath on the door and called it Christmas! I'm actually fine with that!
