WOYWW # 471

Good Morning, and outside that's what it is. After storms and near by towns flooded over a 3 day period of rain, we now have decent temperatures, sunshine and no wind...A little bit of heaven.

But here at the Windows 10 ....2 hrs of a mess trying to find photos.  Reloaded twice. then automation took over to decide to BACK UP the System.. It has been set to do this at 2 A.M.  so I went to my laptop..same issue..  I shut everything off, unplugged the router and now found the 3 photos I just downloaded in a file labeled 2007-05.    All seems very ODD to me

I was trying to play along with our What's on your work desk Wednesday, hosted by Julia on her blog here  at STAMPING GROUND  It's where to visit on Wednesday.

....here's the desk:

I made a few covers for some small journals..played with making a signature, and gathered all my small flower stamps. Thinking one theme will be flowers  and another little journal with  birds. Will watch a few more You Tubes on preparing the pages... 2 tea bags front and center.
Which drew me to photo the table beside my desk. The beige old box on top of the 3 drawer file holds papers from tea bags I dried and took apart.   other little goodies were garage sale items at 50 cents each. Couldn't resist  4 older aged books, a little wooden 3 drawer shelf (hope to repaint) and three wooden spool like things I might wrap lace around.

Hoping you all have a wonderful day, thanks for visiting.  I'm off to enjoy breakfast with my hubby. Monday it was 15 years ago we met at our local Pub, while I was waiting for a take out chicken supper.  So thankful for his support and patience this past year.

Sorry to hear about the storms Sylvia, I hope they are gone now as it appears you had your fair share. The dreaded windows 10 update, my little laptop has not enough memory to update, not sure if that's a good thing or not but i'm hanging on in there.
Beautiful covers, hope to see those signatures. There's so many lovely pots and trinkets upon your hanger.
Wishing you a wonderful day and congratulations on your milestone with Hubby, I love hearing stories just like these.
Creative wishes and Happy WOYWW Tracey #7

Hi Sylvia, I love the pack of stamps by the side of your desk, the one with dandelion-type heads really caught my eye. The teabags look invitingly ready to work with - I do so love working with them and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with them.
Thank you so much for your kind thoughtful comments on my blog - dementia is such a hard illness to live with, as much for the family as anyone. You must be going through such a hard time, I remember many drives home in tears after visiting my mum. I hope things get easier for you when you get yourself a new doctor, and I hope you find a way of coping with your visits and coming away feeling less stressed.
Sending hugs,
Diana xx

The storms have been merciless. I've been watching your part of the country on TV and seeing all the raging water. So glad the rains have stopped for awhile.

Don't you hate technology when it acts up? I'm SO glad I no longer use Windows when I got a new computer.

Sounds like a 15 year celebration is in order. Nice to read such good things still happen.

I love that spinner thingy on your desk. It looks SO useful. Happy WOYWW from # 6.

Hi Sylvia. Happy 15th meet-up anniversary!!! What a fun way to meet your future hubby. Sounds like Windows 10 was really going mad for you today - it seems it has a love/hate relationship with people. Some folks seem to love it - others just find it so frustrating!
What do you hope to do with your dried teabags?
Take care. God bless.

A nice busy desk for we crafters to look at.
We have the high winds today but have had some glorious sunshine these past few weeks (for a change).
Hugs,Neet 4 xx (and thanks for the visit to me when I was otherwise occupied with visitors yesterday)

Head not working - am back - teabags are fascinating me so I think I need to look on You Tube for some tutes. Trouble is we don't drink tea - just one a week for the gardener is about all I can muster. Mine are fruit teas and they are predominantly red. Plus a funny shape.
Hugs again, Neet xx
