Welcome, It's the day we share our desks. Julia at the STAMPING GROUND hosts our gathering. Glad to be back.
My desk is a total disaster, but I am happy to have had some time to clear away December's theme and on to February's.
And a few cards I've put together.
It's bitter cold here. -8 We are within only a 10 mile circle radius of missing 5 to 11 inches of Snow. We had about 3 but 35 mph winds blew it in drifts. Roads are icy, and I am content to be at home where it's warm and cozy.
Thank you all for the well wishes, I am doing much better, just have a slower pace than I am use too. But like hubby says "We are no spring chickens anymore "!! Our minds think we are but the ole' body just isn't !!
Have a wonderful week and enjoy the happy WOYWW kind of day.

So true - words about the mind and the body - I know only too well.
We have snow here and it is lovely to look out on it just thankful we don't have to venture out. Still, I worry about family who do have to go to work - if only I had enough money to employ them all myself (then they could stay at home)
Hugs, Neet 8 xx
No need to apologise for the mess....you can't be creative and tidy. Love the cards you've made. Just remember to look after yourself and take your time.
Hugs,

Morning Sylvia. Those cards are lovely - well done. Your desk shows incredible signs of an amazing amount of activity having taken place - only wish mine did!!
How true are your hubby's words - we ain't as young as we used to be, indeed - but I'm only 21 on the inside:-)!!
Take care. Stay snug and warm. God bless.

Actually I'm not sure I would want to be a spring chicken anymore Lol! Your desk looks quite exciting to me and wish I was there to poke around it. Thanks for the visit to mine, have a great woyww and happy crafting too, Angela x17x
Glad you've found a moment to craft Sylvia, it's never easy when we have been unwell and we have lots of left overs from previous creations lying around. January is a month i'm quite happy to leap frog over.. Love what you created.
Happy woyww Hugs Tracey xx
I laughed at your husband's comment - I'm 18 still in my head but the creaks in my ankle make me realise I'm not! Keep laughing and acting the fool! Loving your heart cards today, especially the third, so pretty!

Glad to hear you are staying inside in the warm. Much the best place to be. We have just a light sprinkle but it is very cold and icy out there. One of our local main roads has been closed since first thing this morning, due to a major accident. You have some lovely cards on show. Thank you for your visit and kind comments. xx Maggie (Silvercrafter) #18
Wise lady, Sylvia to stay inside nice and toasty, clever in fact because you create some gorgeous cards... yes it is good to slow down, I’ve actually read two books this week!

This time of year I sort of hibernate! I don't get out much with the cold and germs! Hope you are feeling better; vertigo can be a beast sometimes. Love all your cards and yes your desk is a total mess!

it has been cold here too, but thankfully not that cold, nor have we had more than a sprinkling of snowflakes (long may that continue!)At least you've been able to crack on with those pretty cards! Helen #5
Hello there. Thank you so much for visiting and for your kind words. I would like to hide away somewhere for a while. Not because of my Mum but other issues. -8 is cold! It was cold here today. Snowed last night and DH was struggling to clear car and windscreen. We were due to go out shopping and visiting a grumpy Aunt - in end decided to delay until tomorrow in hope it might be a little warmer.
Love the cards you have made. Take care Anne x 16
Your cards are lovely! Nice to be warm and cozy on days like that! We've had bitter cold over the last week too, and it's snowing now. But unfortunately I have to go to work tonight. Oh well! Thanks for your visit, have a great week and keep warm! Lindart #25
The desk looks indeed 'Christmassy' with those colours... We, too, had a little bit of snow last week. It was the first time to see it from our new home, in the medieval city centre, and it was absolutely fabulous to see the old streets and houses covered in snow! It's all gone now, and I'm ready for Spring ha! Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day, happy ~belated~ woyww. Hug from Holland. Marit #20
Hi Sylvia! You are so right! I don't even act my age most of the time but the body tells me when enough is enough LOL. Love the pieces you've been working on. Hopefully, my desk will look like that come Wednesday. I hope to play in the vintage valentine challenge. Creative Blessings! Kelly #32
