WOYWW #627

Welcome,   so glad you stopped by:

Again, so sorry,  I've no desk to share.  There is no path to any of my work spaces.  I've cleaned out the storage area and have a BIG mess.  The time has flown by with all the rearranging.

This piece has been in our garage for 2 years.  It is VERY heavy and would not fit on any wall in our home, due to heat vents, light switches, thermostats, etc.  So I decided it needed to go to the basement and I would store my fabric and crafty items in it   Well I found 2 young strong men to move this and 4 other pieces. Thank goodness for strong, willing young men.

This piece is also VERY heavy it has an unattached piece of Black Steel for it's top. It has been in our laundry room for many years, not giving me much storage.  So it now resides next to the cubbie. I haven't had time to fill either of these as yet but hope fully by next week the whole area will be again orderly and livable.  The young men's comments "this stuff is REAL HARD WOOD"  it's old.

This is a two piece "old" hutch which sat where the cubbie is now  it is now just off the kitchen across from our small pantry
And this piece was my mother's, has been in our basement storage area 8 years, (Wow where has time gone) now next to the hutch across from our washer and dryer.   I am so glad I made the change.  More space in our garage, which we have sorted and hopefully tomorrow some will be sold to a group of gals adding to their shop.

I have great storage for many kitchen items I could not reach in our kitchen cabinets due to height and my short shrinking body.  And A place to display my Raggedy Ann & Andy items.

This little make shift guest area is full of material and things to abandon.
And now you can see why I've no path to my work tables. !!!!! My desks are 8 ft beyond this mess.
That's my tour for this week!!
This lovely photo has items from Angela/Felix the Cat Blog  and her ATC.  Thanks Angela your ATC is amazing and I love the  substitute post card  of the Cathedral.

Linking up with JULIA at the STAMPING GROUND
Thanks for stopping by,  it's hot here  a week of 95 degree weather days, could only work in our garage early in the mornings at 73 degrees.  Hubby is busy Watering garden/grass/flowers, and we are thankful for air conditioning.   Have a wonderful week   and Thanks for the great comments from last week.

At least you’ll have a fun time rearranging everything. Sounds like you’re going to be hot hot hot this week, I think I’d melt in those temps, lol!

Love the pictures of the goings on at your house. I love getting to change things around some. Most of my things are the same as they have been for years. I don't mind...it's just me and it's comfortable!

Well done on the furniture moving - it's good to sort and reorganise sometimes. It makes everything seem fresh and new. Hope you can enjoy the warm weather - it's been lovely here this week or so too so we are making the best of it. xx Jo

Sounds like you are on a roll with moving and sorting things Sylvia, I adore that huge heavy storage such a useful piece to have. I'm sure it will all look amazing when finished and everything is close to hand. Makes life much easier.
Take good care of yourself and I hope that creative time is just around the corner for you. Happy WoywW Tracey #13

Wow, Sylvia. Lucky you. That is a great cubby. I see you have lots of those empty ones that could be used to store little things. You have a real mess on your hands right now, but I'm convinced it will come together soon. Love the ATC and that incredible postcard, too. Happy WOYWW from # 3.

Hi Sylvia, this seems to be the favourite job of the week. I'm still trying to clear the loft and decided that I'm not allowed up there without bringing something down, hope it works. I'm so pleased you like the ATC, I seem to have nautical stuff on the brain at the moment. Have a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x17x

Strong men are always handy for shifting stuff and o/owning glue containers! It’s hard work shifting and reorganising furniture, so glad you had help. Which was the collage group you recommend? Angela # 12

Great pieces of furniture there! I love the hutch particularly and that first set of cubby shelves is superb - I do love items with a bot of patina and history. Bye for now, Lisa-Jane #8

Lovely happy mail, Sylvia. It sounds as if you've been doing a lot of heavy lifting, shifting all that furniture around! I'm having a major sort-out this week, too.

Happy belated WOYWW,
