WOYWW # 628

Welcome friends.   I am scheduling this for our Wednesday desk sharing. I might be gone and I might have the last day of 2 working on finishing up the bathroom.  WHAT a PROCESS.  I can make no plans.

It is very hot here, into the 3rd week with no rain and temps in the high 90's.  Crops will not be good if rain isn't falling soon.  Saturday we had a 3 hr drive to my grandson's graduation party. My sister and husband rode with us. WHAT A PERFECT DAY. So many old friends attended, that I haven't seen since I moved away.  My Son and DIL  did an amazing job with food, decorating and planning. Doesn't seem possible he will be leaving for college in a few months.

Then things kind of turned into a rough week, a funeral for a friend's husband,  my Military son and family had issues with the plane to leave for Germany Sunday out of Baltimore.   Engine light...unloaded, reload No Air Conditioning. unloaded. reloaded hours late into the night and a 6 hour flight to Germany.  They are safe, had no quarantine restrictions, papers in order, but their house was not available. Mix up in tenants / oversee man so until the 28th they have a temporary place ,  Their car and furniture are on a ship. So who knows when .

I really did have some time to work on re arranging my crafty place and I am happy with it. Hope to do a video in a week or so.

Turned the table to line up with the other and cleared out underneath.
The only sort through left.....but it's manageable. It's the desk I collage, and use paints on
My stamping and card making area.  DONE.  I just want some time to play !

Linking up with Julia at the  STAMPING GROUND    Have a great week.

Good morning girl! So glad your family members made it safe and sound to Germany. I know you were so worried until they arrived safely. Loving your work space. I love seeing where people work and play. Have a great rest of the week!

It sounds as if your son and family have had an upheaval getting to their new posting, I’m glad they got there ok, things will be better when they get their proper home. How lovely that your Gs’s party went so well, that’s great. You’ve had a task on your hands sorting out the craft room but I’m glad it’s done. Nice pic of Robert Redford btw!

So glad you shared the good news about your grandson first. What a nice experience and one that was shared by your family, unlike those who graduated last year. Then the bad news about your son moving to Germany. I hope things get smoother for them over time.

You have two very busy looking desks. So glad you can finally get in and arrange them. The card making area looks wonderful with everything so close at hand. Happy WOYWW from # 4. Like you, I hope for cooler weather and a bit of rain, too.

Glad you've managed to make space to play a little Sylvia. I do hope your son and his family settle in soon - whereabouts in Germany are they? I lived in Bremerhaven for a year but I am not sure if the US base is still there. I really pray you get rain for the crops soon. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

I'm so glad you had a lovely time with your family and I'm sorry to hear your son had so many problems with his move to Germany - hopefully they will be sorted out soon and he can get settled into his new home. Your craft room is looking great - so tidy and organised - I always long for a nosey through your craft stuff as you have such pretty and interesting things!
Hope you have a good week and some rain for the crops,
