Good Morning..running a little late and posting issues ! What's new? Decisions here on when the children go back to school, part time with online other days seems to be the best.
AND Now MASKS for sure for most of us, almost mandatory most places now. Our area has been pretty good. So maybe I'll be making a few more of them, just to co ordinate with my clothes. I am content to be at home.
Today we share our desks, Ms Julia has hosted this a long time and we enjoy seeing what the other parts of the world are doing. HERE:will get you more info.
My desk:
Making a fun little journal, the big dictionary is my weight for glue drying. It will be of paper and fabric and hopefully I can share it finished next week. Was fun as I had supplies available and handy.
I ordered a few things online !!!!! A few from 5 different places ! UPS/USPO getting to know the country roads. These are mostly small floral stamps and a few oddities. I was able to get free shipping on most orders so that always makes me feel great.
Have a wonderful week. Thanks for all the comments on last weeks post. Stay Safe.

I do like the colours of your little journal Sylvia, look forward to seeing more of it when the glue has dried. The new goodies look interesting. Always good to score free P+P. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
Hi Sylvia, that's a busy looking desk, can't wait to see the journal hiding under the book! Have fun playing with your new goodies :) Annie C #17
I'm late in the day visiting this week but it's better than last week's effort lol.
I've spent the day replenishing my basket of face masks...but as soon as I fill them they sell so it's a bit like painting the Forth bridge :-)
Think I've now made masks to match 1000s of clothes :-)

Do you know, I'm content to be at home too! It's made me realise how much I was rushing beforehand and my hubby and I are appreciating the slower way of life. Masks are everywhere now, I've had to experiment to find one that suited me but I'm ok now. It made me smile you using the dictionary to weight things down, I've done that a fair few times as well!

Hi Sylvia. Sounds like you are busy - and thankful to live somewhere you can stay at home and enjoy your surroundings. I admit I am not in a huge hurry to go anywhere either - but it was especially precious to see my whole family just over a week ago. I had not seen my elder daughter since Christmas - a long time for us as a family!
I love the dictionary usage!!
Take care. God bless.

Hi Sylvia. Bit late as we've managed an afternoon outside with friends but I'm here now to see what you're up to. Have fun with the new stash. Hope your woyww has been good one. Hugs, Angela x11x
Oh pretty colours you’re using Sylvia, how sweet a journal they will make. Loving the new cubby too, what a great find. When I clear out places like that, there’s never anything so interesting! I’m a little bit in the mood for new stash myself, so you set me a fine example today! I have three masks now, they are mandatory from tomorrow in shops, but I doubt I’ll ever wear the black one, it seems too threatening to me, and like you, I quite like something that might vaguely go with what I’m wearing. As we’re going to have to protect each other for a long time to come yet, I think a little bit of ‘accessorising’ them is Ok, huh!
Sounds like we are all busy making masks - I do a few every couple of days for friends and family. It's such a simple thing when you know how, but so many don't, so it's nice to be able to help out. Your crat space always looks so well ordered. Enjoy!! xx Jo
Yes, we are all making masks - I have several patterns now but have yet to decide which is the best!
A heavy squashing book is essential, I find!!
Happy woyww! Stay Safe, keep well!

A busy desk, Sylvia, and lots of pretty pink things on it! There's nothing like heavy books for flattening things, is there. Thank you for your visit and I'm so glad you enjoyed my blog this week. I can understand your reluctance to find Bailey a new little friend but you might find they get on just fine. We got 2 new kittens to keep one of our old cats company and it took her a year to accept them, but when she and the surviving one were old, and the companion died, she was inconsolable and just gave up the will to live, and 3 weeks later she was gone too. It was heartbreaking. We never thought they were that close but she really missed her. Then we got Lily and Ruby, and being twin sisters they've always been together and are very close. Our garden at the back is very private, considering there are houses all around. My hubby worked hard to make it kitty proof and that works most of the time - we've had a couple of escapes so we don't let them out unless he is home to deal with it! We just love being out there and now we've got the umbrella we can make use of that real little sun trap by the house, and my hubby has done brilliantly during the lockdown with all the flowers. It's heavenly.
Horrible day today - overcast and occasional spots of rain so no sitting out today!
Happy belated WOYWW,
